Empty character list on the right server.

I was playing normally but i noticed that many of the players shops in Archosaur were missing names, which i thought was weird but thought it was just a glitch, so i try to keep playing and i teleport to Orchid Temple and then i get disconnected. When i try to log back in to the same server (Dreamweaver) I have an empty character list. >< Whats wrong? ;;

    Yep, same with me. Something must be wrong with the server it seems.

    Same here, I was just playing and had to relog...now says can not retrieve character list! wtf?!b:angry

    Looks like the character database has crashed. Hopefully they reboot it soon.

    I'm having the same problem. Dreamweaver's acting up. I tried forcing relog and normal relog to no avail. Just receiving the same empty (unable to retrieve) character list. I was hoping to get a few more things accomplished, but doesn't look like that will happen tonight. b:sad

    Relogging wont help if the Character Database has crashed for Dreamweaver. You just have to wait it out.

    What up PWI its Friday night a big night and not able to play. Lost out on my wined bhs.
    And when i try and get in says i have no char.

    Having the same issue and cant relog, says cant connect the the character list, was right in the middle of a wined bh...the last boss too...so what's up with the server?

    Does anyone know if the servers working again? Is it everyone in DW or just a select few? D:

    Same issue for me on dreamweaver. Can't access character list and can't create new character. b:cryb:cry

    How Character Databases work:

    Every server has thousands of people playing on them. If a game used just ONE database for the characters for all servers it would lag out and crash constantly and the game wouldnt be playable very much.
    So each server has their own database for characters/maps/login/.
    Right now only Dreamweaver has crashed.

    Hope that helped you all understand.
