hello,
First i want to apologize my self, cause i dont know if i am asking this on the right place.
So after this, heres my problem

I got a dell laptod with win 7, and every single time i hit the caps lock key it changes the window ( or goes to desktop) and its really a pain in the ***.
Other thing that happens all the time, its when i start the game its really dificult to stabilize the game, what i mean is: i start the game, the game opens, then goes to desktop, over ad over again, after 5 or 6 trys, the game stabelize and i can log in,
Any help?

Everything has its beginnings, but it doesn't start at one. It starts long before that... The world is born From zero. The moment zero becomes one is the moment the world springs to life. One becomes 2. 2 becomes 10. 10 becomes 100. taking it all back to one solves nothing. so long as zero remains... One.. Will eventually grow to 100 again.

For your 2nd issue, sounds like the driver to your graphics card needs to be updated. Also, make sure that if you are playing in full screen, that the resolution is the same as your laptop's screen.

For your 1st issue, it could be that the pathway for the caps key was somehow re-routed. Also, check your hotkeys in-game, it may have been changed.

Either the above, or possibly your keyboard is dying.

It sounds kind of like your CAPS LOCK key is doing an ALT+TAB somehow, or maybe your keyboard is doing random ALT+TABs. In any case, I haven't heard anyone ask about this problem before.

You should have asked this in the "Technical Support Zone" forum, though.

On http://www.itsth.de/en/download/index.php you can download the small tool called cAPSlOCKhASSER

Turns the useless caps lock key off, leaves the ingame function of capslock unchanged.

Solved it for me - had same problem on Win 7.

Ignoring a completely useless reply that begs to get flamed...

This is most likely a keyboard controller issue. I had a laptop that would randomly open new windows, sometimes up to 2,000 at a time.

Someone here is going to scream 'you had a virus!', and they would be wrong. It would do it in Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 7, and in linux. At least in Linux I could disable the key scan code very easily that is assigned to 'open new window', whereas in Windows, it took a lot of posting to figure it out.

Easiest fix is to send your computer into the manufacturer if it is under warranty and get a new keyboard controller and possibly keyboard put in it.

If it's out of warranty, get yourself a normal USB keyboard and disable your laptop's built in keyboard, and only use the USB keyboard. If that's too much, just recycle it and get a new one.

I'd also recommend running some spyware checks, virus checks, and run CHKDSK. I just salvaged my install of Windows 7 by running that today myself.

And good luck getting this fixed. b:surrender

I did the update of the graphic, it said that all is updated.
About the resolution, there was one waring saiyng that it wasnt the best res, so ive changed to the one he said. Still the problem wasnt fixed.

about the keyboard, the pc is brand new, has about 2 weeks, so probably its a problem from manufactuer. i will go there as soon as possible.

So thank you everyone for the replys.

PS. ive got the anti virus ans spyware all activated

Well... Being brand new... It'll have either really good drivers through Win 7, or if it has an old graphics card, really really crappy intel drivers that are horrible (I've run into this) that you can't change unless you do horrible things to windows. Though I have never seen a graphics driver cause task switching.

You need to call up your computer manufacturer and tell them you need the keyboard replaced. :p Get an RMA. You'll hopefully go through smooth.

And finally, having anti-virus and spyware stuff installed isn't enough, run active scans of both.
