Monitor & Graphics Card Question

(Not sure if this should be tech support...)

I recently got a completely new computer with a better quality graphics card than my old one, but did not replace my monitor. I had an NVIDIA card in my 2007 Compaq and the monitor that came with it. Still using the monitor but my new computer has an ATI Radeon card.
I'm upset because the colors are horrible. Everything on my computer is way less vibrant, and changing the settings on the monitor and ATI program won't fix it. Everything looks duller than before, especially ingame.

And I'm having this glitch with my wings in game, I'm not sure if it's related to my graphics card. My wings (the Dark Negation ones) are really blurry and the pointy feathers of them are really jagged. I checked my character on another computer and this problem wasn't there.

So basically my question is, if I get a new monitor will it fix the issues? Or is there something I can use to check the compatibility of my card with a monitor?

    it more then likely is your monitor, try hooking it up to a HD tv and see what happens.

    Could you post a screenshot of these glitches, could be driver settings/corruption or compatability problems between the game and graphics card

    What nvidia card, what ati card?

    It looks to me like you have antialiasing off. AMD/ATI cards have the worst drivers of any hardware on the planet, and the AA is always dysfunctional with them(assuming you actually have it on).

    Not sure what setting I have on. But it's an ATI Radeon HD 5400.
