First, allow me to say a big HIYA to all you venomancers. Quite honoured to be a part of this class. b:cute

Now for the not-so-fun part.

Okay. I've been playing a venomancer for about 2 years now and, for the most part, I love it! However it's starting to become less like a fun game and more like a chore, I'm thinking I'm getting bored of the class. With the threat of the mystics looming overheard, I may even end up rerolling.

BUT. I don't want to waste it. I'm not far off 100 now, the old-fashioned way! (Oh, I know.. what an idiot. b:surrender) I own a Hercules, it was a gift off the husband that I got way back when.. No nix, though. I never had much interest in PVP. I joined the server 'cause my IRL husband played on it. Sad, I know! I've been working on my pvp skills with friends and not-so-friendly people. Back in the day, heavy venomancer was THE pvp build. I'm thinking my character needs a nice fresh start.

I believe you call it vit/arcane build.
If I should restat to heavy build, not much would actually change. I do, however, desperately need your advice!

Note: I am a sage venomancer. Sage fox skills include: Fox form, Melee Mastery, Soul Degeneration

As you can see, my M.ATK takes a rather bad beating. I'd rather hoped the wep would make up for it.

I'm not the richest chic around and my money-making skills in-game are pitiful. The only part of the gears I'm missing is the TT armour.
Is it worth getting melee rings too? To switch out maybe?

    You'd want to focus on melee with that build and get different ornaments all around.
    Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.

    I understand, I'm just bloody clueless lmao. I think once I hit 100, a lot more ornament varieties will be open to me. I'm trying to make it add up with melee rings atm. Not having super luck. x_x

    unless your going for interval bonuses, which you shouldnt if you dont CS or make a lot in game, i wouldnt go for the 99 set, just get the sleves, the rest of the set doesnt provide much of a bonus over tt90 (1 vit and 10 hp from chest and legs), if you can get a set of scribes shoes to replace your 90 boots though, that wouldnt be bad.

    there are benefits aquiring TT99 set pieces/interval bonuses , but it doesnt sound like those benefits would be much use to you

    I've not played HA veno myself, though I hope to restat my LA veno to HA/AA at some point in the future... but perhaps part of the problem with Mdef is that you're only considering HA? I recall reading that some venos hotkey their different armor, keeping robes handy for when dealing with mag attacks, and heavy armor for dealing with phys attacks.

    i did that until i had my HA refined enough that magic hits, while taking more HP, took less of a percentage of hp. HA refines far better than AA

    From my understanding, HA veno is more pvp oriented build? I could be wrong though as I'm a lowbie in the grand scheme of things...
