Why cant 2 males get married in the game?

I think it's discrimination the fact that 2 males or 2 females cant get married b:shocked

I dont know what you guys think, but i, and a lot more people on the game think there should be that possibility!

    Because this game was made in China, lots of people are hooomophobes, the US is full of them too, and because it would just be logical.

    If you want to have a sausage fest, find a dude playing a female character.

    It's what I did, I found a girl playing a barb, and married her barb to my Cleric. Though, it was more because I'm that uncomfortable around males, and she's not attracted to women (is married to a guy).

    So... QQ about it, but don't expect anything to get fixed, ever (status quo, basically, for this game).

    roll a female character or make 2 alts with similar names. strait couples that play characters of the same sex do it, why cant you?

    Marriage is a Crappy old 'legal' way to own somebody and their stuff.. It shouldn't exist in real life anymore, let alone in a game.. who cares about marriage in a Game when in real life marriage is just a piece of **** excuse .

    I think that it's discrimination if two males or females could get married. Discrimination against homophobics, people who may hurl at the thought. The game wants a player-base, and there are a lot more of one particular side.

    Saying that, I'm not personally offended by same sex marriage. However, I am a catholic, and it is against my religion.

    An MMO is not the correct venue for hashing out social/moral issues.
    I generally find the idea of in game marriage to be somewhat creepy. At the same time, I dislike being unable to access game content due to cultural dissonance or gender restrictions.
    I wouldn't mind an alternative that was differently named so that folks who want the in-game benefits could get them without having to reroll or having to deal with the connotations of marriage .

    And religion is BS, thus marriage is null and void! What matter is that u love the other person not some paper (in real) or title above your head (in game)

    Also, it has been stated multiple times in other threads that things like same-sex marriage are expressly forbidden in China, which is where the game developers are based for PWI.
