First off i would like to make it aware that i am asking for Blood Paint to be made a universal buff, that every class should be able to get it.

I strongly believe there are a lot of people who feel that allowing all classes to utilize this buff would breed some life back into them, especially Archers and Venomancers as they are both able to produce physical attacks. For example there are a lot of claw/fist using Archers out there that would hugly benifit, there is no denying that 80% of the Archer population has stated to use Claw/Fist weapons and have high interval, meaning that a lof of us Archers now take advantage of Melee damage & Range (bow) damage. Adding the ability to use BP while using Melee (claw/fist) damage would aid us greatly.

Venomancers are also another class that is capable of producing Melee damage, their Fox form build has a whole skill tree of Melee based attacks and i wouldent be surprised that if BP was given to them a lot more Venomancers would take advantage of the versitility of the Class and use Heavy armour builds and even -interval fox form builds.

These two classes would probably benifit the most, but as i wish for the buff to be made available to all classes im sure we would see some crazy builds from clerics and wizards ~giggles~, but i really think that it would breath some life back into the Venomancer and Archer because most people just re-roll to become Bm's or Sins to take advantage of high APS BP, thus killing off the 2 older classes

I hope that you the players can support me with this idea and really back it because its such a simple change that can really add re-balence and life back to the older classes.

    it should be for all classes as far as im concerned

    they didnt turn around to the Cleric and say "you're a magic caster why the hell would you want Str Barb buffs?"

    or

    "Hey veno, your never gonna get agro from me; im a Barb, you don't need my HP buff"

    they still gave it to every class...

    BP only works for melee attacks. It's pretty dumb to how racist the BP buff is. Clerics can buff archers with increase magic attack buff despite archers have no skills at all that use magic attack. Archers meanwhile have a lot of useable skills in melee including attacks but no BP.

    But I mean if it was for all races, regardless of melee or not. Just like... using skills in general. I know what Summer was getting at, but I took it a step further and thought if it was for ranged/mag AND melee attack.

    And hey, don't call out the mag attack buff. I love having a 3-3 Mag Attack when buffed regardless. QQ

    Ok, so... I read stuff like this and I get to wondering:

    I currently carry a crossbow, bolts, two bows, three kinds of arrows, and claws. I'd be carrying a slingshot and shot also, but that gets to be a bit much.

    And I have uses for all of them (even the slingshots), though I might put aside the crossbow, since I cannot afford to refine it enough to keep up with some of my other gear.

    So, anyways, does my use of all-class weapons (like bows) or close range weapons (like claws) make me not be an archer? If so, what would be the "archer alternative"?

    Elven Alacrity and Blessing of the Condor?

    Wings of Protection and Winged Shell?

    Winged Pledge and Wingspan?

    Awaken and Triple Spark?

    No... how about this: Are winged creatures meant to have claws? Do feathers and claws on the same being seem right to you? When was the last time you saw a bird with claws? Or, maybe: when was the last time you saw a bird?

    I agree its pretty lame and racists that only 3 classes can get BP (maybe Seekers will to). Blood Paint only works for mele skills anyway, so its not archers would be able to open Barrage or wizards dropping ultis and get thousands of hp lol

    Its a buff that was designed for "tanks" most likely, so i guess that's why only BM and Barbs are getting it atm. Sins to of course to, but its their class specific self buff.

    Lame anyway, both venos and archers would benefit from it a lot since both classes often take the role as a mele DD. Veno skill tree is even 50% mele...Majority of 100+ archers DD with fist/claws to in Frost/Nirvana, pretty sure developers have noticed that by now.

    BP should work as Frost Blade, everyone gets the buff and than if you mele something you get hp.

    Veno has TWO MELEE TREES, and doesn't get BP.

    well it would be nice if we can persuade the Dev's that the skill should be made Un-Racist and free to all classes like every other buff is..
