How to make your channel - 80%

Hi can anyone tell me what is the gear that we need to make our channeling -80% or 90% or more from that .

    This would be a build having -65 chan without demon spark and -90 chan demon sparked. I would not recommend it tho, the surviveability is really low in spite of the sharded gems and over average refines. Of course you could look for better Ornaments or leave teh 12 chan out and get pdef ornaments...

    The best way to obtain the -80% chan would be to look for rare crafts with more than -6% chan on them for instance

    OHT sleeves with 2 times -6% chan or rings with -6%+-3%
    then you will have to choose 1 weapon like shiranbansho or beamhoof slice with -10% on it
    and elemental ornaments with -3 to -6% chan
    and a lunar robe with -6% chan
    and a tome with -1(-2)% chan
    for helmet i would say warsoul of heaven with -3% .....

    anyway most of the items you will need to reach 80% will be rare and/or expensive + you will have to accept to have lower defenses for higher -chan

    although it might be fun in PvE, in PvP/TW/RB a -chann wiz is useless. Look at that 5k pdef with demon stone barrier, roflmao.

    Wiz is a DPH class, trying to push it to dps will just transform his weakneses into severe hadicaps.
    ~100% channel wizards are the kings of Private Servers because of the shards, refine and gear lvl available. I know, I played a lot on them.

    So can I infer from what you said that going demon is not as good a choice as going sage?

    you could also learn runecrafting when genesis comes in - according to the news item one of the later buff effects is 30 or 60 mins -channelling. Hopefully by a decent %age.

    nope.
    each has its ups and downs, but there is no clear winner.
    Sage can control better chi => ultis => more effective in TW AOE.
    Demon has 30% more base pdef and better control (stuns/freeze) => longer survival (lol when hit by sins) => more 1v1 oriented.
    A Demon can do a good job in TW as a Sage can do a good job in PvP. It's just that some of the skills makes your survival/dmg more efficient in certain sittuations.

    Well.. yea you just used more expensive stuff ;P And I used one Stone of Savant because they only give 3 chan not 6... The calculator is wrong there. But I agree with Ursa, the surviveability is a joke. This wizard here already got 6.5k pdef with sage barrier and 5.6k hp with 53 base vit. And I don't have good refines yet and only immacs sharded. So yeah.

    yeah so I think that about -50% chan is ideal for the average demon wizard (-30 from gear and -20 to -25 from dquaff or dspark) without a significant reduction in defense. One huge drawback of the -chan build is the rapid mana consumption.

    .....goes back in shell before the owners of the wizard section return......

    ^^show off lol we no u like ur build but we discussing how to get lots of - chan on wizzy but still has high chance of survival.

    hmm...-23% channel is still fairly fast. Not sure if building a mage to be a autoshotgun is the best build or even viable. Would take billions of years to craft the stuff required from OHT mats.

    nah i noe as a wizzy is better to be able to 1shot and to stay away from channeling ( 25-30 will be perfect )

    However the pont of this thread is how to get -80-90 chan =D. THas why i reccomended such build for the topic creator

    shhh, unless the pwi wizard board approves your post they will try to pick it apart. Apparently those of us who have fun with their characters are not supposed to put forward alternate builds. BTW in pvp/pk I do quite fine ty........but of course certain wizards will then claim that Harshlands PvP sucks so whatever.

    -74% (-99% sparked) Wizard, with good survivability, not too pricey (will take time to find the rings, but they are around, and prices they go for are about the same as Lunars).

    No fantasy shards or refines.

    there is no -6 channel stone ingame so far
    so that's just -68 at best...far from insta cast.
    the build doesn't look bad though...but the cost of it? damn...
    And so far I only saw 1 pair of 2x -6 sleeves, made by me :). Haven't seen 2x -6 rings, and to have two of them? lol.
    -Int is everywhere to buy. When insta cast will be the same, then we'll see if it's worth or not.

    pwicalc display savant as -6% but in the statistics it counts it as -3%
    ..so it's 74%

    but as u said, good luck with all the crafted items xd

    I think my build is cheaper considering the chann/cost ratio.

    Just use one -12chann ornament, while you can use physical ornament to boost up survivability. I am using belt for -12 is because that's what i know is out on HT. And same goes for rings, just use one -chann ring, I only used -9 because the price difference for -9 and -12 is HUGE!

    And the wrist is "fairly" common with more than -6 chann. Oh, and use G5 tome is way cheaper than Scroll of Tome lol

    I didn't put refine or shards in cuz i am too lazy xD so what you guys think?

    While you're at it, why don't you just use -18% belt and wrists and ring. Hell +12 everything and use 20vit stones kthx
