Coming Back?

I've recently been trolling the forums after having quit for about a year, and I keep getting this weird urge to come back to PWI, thing is; is it worth it?

I think If I come back, I'd be an assassin, 'cuz I love 'em to death.

Other than school, Games like this are my life, so I'd probably be able to devote a lot of time to this game again, and make some good profit. I don't plan to cash shop at all, I want to do this game totally F2P.

Should I come back, and if so, soon; or should I wait until after the expansion?

Note: I am very experienced with the Assassin class, so repeat dying wont be a problem with me, plus I'll be on a PvE sever; I love to grind, so no money worries, because I don't get frustrated.

Hey, if the game is dead, (which I doubt) More grinding spots for me, hehe.

I guess it depends on what you want from a game. I think PW is still pretty entertaining if you're goal oriented and not worried about being the absolute best. There's not a whole lot of end game content though, but that might change with the expansion. I really don't think anyone can tell you whether or not it's worth it though, because you might view things differently... there's no harm in trying it out again for a week or so to decide for yourself. lol

Thank you for your point of view, I will take this into consideration, very close to coming back.

Fortunately for your ignorance, I know how to grind with a Sin. Just because you didn't as a low level, doesn't mean I don't. Thank you for not contributing to the actual question, go troll somewhere else <3

I believe what he meant is that it is much more efficient, and easier, to grind as a ranged class.

sins are a very competitive class to play, there end gear is kinda a must for lv 100 if you want to get into any squads for much. it seems like all the lv 100+ sins hav the same exact gear but it depends on there reaction to things and there refine + gems in gear tht make them good. Also level is very important for a sin if you plan at all to pvp or tw in a faction, but if your all pve tht isn't a problem.

if you are devoted as you say your are and are willing to farm 300+ mill worth of interval gear then go ahead. if not i suggest another class that isn't so judged on gear as much.

Yo I cash-grind with my sin and am quite successful. With maxed shadow jump, shadow tele, stealth, and daemon spark, it's quite easy and fun.

Well, I've already come back, and I totally agree with you, Typh. Grinding with a sin, even if you aren't a cashshopper or 4-5aps(yet) is easy, if you know what you're doing, gosh people don't be so biased about how squishy we are =P

lol, not sure on the coming back part but I can't lie to you funding wise.

I recall coin farming about 3-500k every other day or so to buy hyper stones, then leveled to 100 for nirvana. From there you simply farm it 2 times when you're on and you save yourself hours of tedium to make funds.

This is coming from a player that was raising their sin w/o hypers or oracles on just grinding funds + pq. Not everyone needs the route to the top handed to them on a platter in order to get somewhere.
I can see what you see not,
    Vision milky, then eyes rot.
When you turn, they will be gone,
    Whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be,
Shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind,
Cast down into the Halls of the Blind.
