    The ironic thing about this is, I do tend to use weapons that others consider "fail," even though they're comparable to my level. It's not about using something that nobody else uses (although that's a plus). It's about rejecting the notion that there's only one set of "acceptable" gear.

    I'm well aware that G:V has the same Str requirement. I refuse to use one because I don't want to do more damage with fists than I do with my ranged weapons (as I've explained already). Also, I do not equip gear that cannot reasonably be obtained from any source other than packs.

    This is how you like to play...Props to you. Doesnt mean a person who likes to use GVs over Gorenox is wrong in doing so. TBH quite certain even your gorenox will do more DPS than your bow given sufficient time.
    I'm not denying that a tanking Archer serves some logistical purposes in a pinch. I am saying that it's not worth discarding the tenets of your class over. Yeah, tanks are hard to find sometimes. So what? That's life (on PWI anyway). I'd rather wait 20 minutes for a real tank than use an Archer tank.

    In the end it's just sad how some people have become so impatient that they'll embrace things like this. To me, it all sounds like they're just bored of endgame and should've quit months ago.

    I dont know, my logic dictates to me that, If you can do something go do it, instead of waiting for the ideal person to come along and do it for you. Who knows, you could probably do it better too. As per my understanding, a tank is any person who can hold the boss'/mobs' damage long enough for others/himself to kill it. It has nothing to do with a specific class even if the official guide to classes say so.

    I have nine archer skills I can use with claws (plus my sparks and town portal and normal attack). Two of my skills which I can use with claws are attacks (again: plus my normal attack). And most of them are escape or survival skills.

    Meanwhile blademasters switch weapons so they can effectively use their fists and claws, so somehow archers switching weapons so they can effectively use their fists and claws mean archers are not supposed to be using them?

    I totally get this argument. I mean, I do not understand how anyone could possibly have any issues with such clear thinking.

    To restrict a basic Weapon from other classes is more "unrealistic", for those along that line of thought. So I'm a barb, I guess my paws are too big to hold a dagger or I'm a bm, -it's so ridiculous I can't think of what to put as an excuse to be unable to hold a pair of daggers-.

    Skills have weapon requirements... it's ok, but not being able to equip them for what ever noob-ish or op-ish use any single player may want them for really makes no sence.

    If I could make myself be heard (and obeyed) by the game devs I'd tell them it's daggers and actually any weapon for all. However I'd also say "fix the way -int works", since it should be %-of-original-int based according to it's description.

    Its in the game so it MUST be intended. Every class should be able to tank, heal dd and solo every boss... wait what? Heres a better one lol... just delete all classes and replace it with one class that does everything. Theres your deversity b:mischievous

    *looks up elven blade* can't find one. and archers are meant to use fists, it's the best melee weapon for archers to use their close range skills with. it requires very little added stats to str, so archers will be able to keep up their high dex points.

    oh, and if you didn't care what we thought of you, why would you be posting on a level 2 barbarian? clearly that isn't your main char. and if it is your main character, it isn't your highest level char. and if it really is both your main and your highest level character, you're only level 2, so how about playing the game before attempting to critique it?

    You're not really saying much to GM's or Developers when you're telling them not to make a living by taking away their biggest money makers from the game, you wouldn't have a game to play if they took away the cashshop because they wouldn't be able to afford the servers.

    I post when I need to about stuff that actually makes sense, unlike for example making a PVE server into an all PK so lazy people don't have to remake their characters on a PVP server you all fall into the same IQ as this except for Miugre who actually thinks about what has been said.b:bye

    Weapons that are class restricted are class restricted. Weapons that are not class restricted are not class restricted. What part of this puzzle is too adult for you to understand?

    all I hear are people that like to QQ and be but hurt cause somethin is not the way they would do it. Just because someone likes to use different gear not standard default quit hating. If its so bad go to different game, and let the people that play without crying all the time have fun.     Using fists is not an exploit.In fact,using any weapon even if your class can't cast skills with them is not an exploit.If it was,during Snowmen event,everyone would have been banned for using a bow and GMs wouldn't have given a "snowball launcher" which was a ranged weapon for a Christmas event last last year.

    Crit arrows do not work unless you use them to shoot.A simple search would have confirmed this.

    @thread Why you QQ bout archers using fists? QQ bout barbs, we can literally only use spark+auto-attack with fists/claws and this kitty is happy doing so.
