How Do I Report Someone That Is Using Foul Language? Everyday he leaves a msg on my shop I want it to stop!

    Screenshot it, send it to support via ticketing system. Will it work? Probably not.

    nah they'll probably get a 3 hour ban during a time when they aren't logged on so they'll never notice.

    Take multiple screenshots of the offender's action, and send a ticket here: http://support.perfectworld.com/

    Also, avoid posting the screenshots on the forums, because we don't allow naming and shaming.

    How about you knock your little rear off the guy is just asking otherwise I don't like some " Guys or Girls thinking their are mr or ms bad *** " let me tell you something...who do you think owns all this characters? who do you think owns the game? and who do you think of many people do not care what anyone thinks...honestly I only care for people who are disrespected...I hate those who disrespect me and other people.

    And everyone disrespects almost everyone in some way or another. You just have to find out how.

    Religion is a popular one. So is race, people are often offended by peoples race for no reason. Oh, poeples gender, theres another. Perhaps the way people type (Guilty! :D).

    Some of you here are missing the point. While there are swear filters in place and circumventing them is technically an offense, most of us are mature enough to not be flustered by such trivial things. The real issue is that, swears or no swears, a nasty message was left on a catshop every day.

    Therefore, OP should ticket the person for harassment, not foul language. /thread.

    Personally when I read this, I wondered if he was one of those scammers that adds a 0 to the price listed in the title. If so good for the guy raging at him. If not...why rofl...

    I did get a threatening message on a catshop once. Some people *really* don't like being undersold.

    I mean - um, DUH? Of COURSE I'm gonna offer at a lower price than you, if I want to sell!

    Foul Language, insults and continual verbal harassment is hurtful and not necessary.

    It is bullying pure and simple, trying to put a person in their place or pain them.

    Do you know what it is like to walk by an Vending cat and have it whisper vulgar names to you, and call you a fail veno?

    Or have someone pm you - saying you do this and that for your gear? Having them whisper this to your friend, and Legion members?

    At a pk war and have someone calling you vulgar names because you are in SZ getting ready to do your repairs and your squad has called it a day? You block them so they hop an alt to continue it?

    I once had someone do this and I blocked them, only to have them log alt after alt to continue their 'telling me' what they thought about me.

    Ever have someone say 'please help me with this boss' and they party you, only to have the squad full and each one quickly lets you know what they think of you, calling you names?

    Yeah I have ...........

    Move to West, they find you - stand beside you and say things about you. Move to East, same.. Move to South, same... now I have no specific place to park.... Go AFK - come back to insulting whispers...

    Block them, they make a blue name. All levels can whisper and you cannot block them before you know their names.

    I think people need to remember to close their profiles because I already backtracked who that Vending cat was.

    Yeah, some things never change. And someone once said here "I have issues"...

    OP - I think the person doing this to you, needs to grow up.

    Being the victim of foul language is still harassment. Especially if it is happening contantly. No one should have to "just deal with it" or quit the game because of it. Just because one person thinks they are so oober that they could deflect this verbal abuse doesn't mean everyone else can. Everyone is sensitive to a certain level. I for one will not tolerate it if it is affecting me too much.

    Like a lot of people said, report via ticket system with screenshots as proof. Even if the offender has a couple hour ban, hopefully it makes them realize that you are serious and they will stop. I am sure if this keeps going however, something bigger may be implemented. Good luck on getting this to stop. :(

    actually, there is a filter, you can block all whispers from players under lvl X.
    system settings>blacklist>screen messages from players bellow level _

    i dont use it since a lot of catshops/ppl that sell stuff in WC are ~lvl1 clerics.
    havent tested it a lot but it looks like it works
