Level 80-85 grinding spots

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you can give me suggestions about some nice grinding spot with mobs in the level range 80-84/85. I want to grind for coins so please don't tell me to go in FC neither TT ( no TT squads atm QQ ). I tried to use the PWI's list of mobs dropping DQ items but it appears that the mobs are either rare ( armored bear eh ? ) or elite ( Grinning Cougaret ~150K hp. You want me to kill 1 mob for 1 DQ item ?! No, thanks. ). I tried with Cragg Bulderarm ( lvl 84 near the elite mob ) but they are refusing to drop anything at all.

I went through a few grinding threads but it appears that all the mobs are lvl85+ and it will basically cost me more to pay my HP food than I`ll get from the DQ items ( if the damn mobs finally start dropping stuff ).

    The mobs at Nightscream Island are decent. You can enter it at DW port. The mobs drop decently and although there are usually others grinding at the same time, you can still get nice amount of drops.
    100% F2P player. Started PW: March 2007, Quit PW: March 2011.

    The butterflies south east of archosaur are a good place to grind. More xp in the skies, they're wood so your metal attacks (incase you will fight with your archer) will make em easier and they drop some venom DQ items giving nice coins (in about 15 minutes you get at least 10 DQ items, maybe more).
    They are called Mothran Dazzlewings.

    To the OP, pwdatabase will show you everything if you look properly, also yea the Mothran Dazzlewing are the best mobs to kill going from 80+, I grinded them like mad on my cleric and made a ton, weren't hard to kill and a nice drop rate DQ and some glaze in there. You'll have to check the other mobs on the PWD to your preference of mobs hp and drops.

    No. I already saved you more grinding time by telling you which mobs drop decent DQ.

    Somewhere around (253, 857) near 1k streams are poison mobs called chipmonq gluttons. They drop reinforced leather which is nice for resale. I grind there on my cleric for coin, and theres not normally alot of folks around doing the same thing. b:pleased Hope this helps.

    Lol Grim you sneaky BM/Archer/Mod in disguise/whatever your catching up! As some someone else said mothran dazzlewings (Lake of Woe) are good for your level and drop well. Then mobs near Sirry Wine camp aren't too bad either if I recall correctly. b:surrender
    Typically Ive found mobs near where quests take you aren't too bad to grind on.

    I got on those mobs. They are level 87, so for the next 7 levels I wont have any problems b:cute

    I already told you we could gamma ;~; just give me a little bit to give my veno two more lvls and Tep's cleric needs to be 75 so he can use the mp foods.
    (or be charmed cuz he's lazy)
