perfect solo class?

hi guys, i joined awhile back but never really got into the game...now im more interested in playing and was just curious. I am one who loves to make friends and have fun, but im very independent and dont want to have to rely on other classes for advancement into endgame....any suggestions?

    Venomancer. Your pet can tank pretty much every mob around your own level.

    but if u wanna pvp with, nix veno is best for pvp

    Venomancers are *the* solo class in mid-high levels, (hell, at all levels, just the solo-able things that are worth it to solo only appear then) though a 5aps bm/sin with bloodpaint can also solo things rather well :) We have our own tank (Glacial Walker is the best f2p tank, Herc is the best tank ingame but costs real $) which means we can solo TT and bosses etc much faster and earlier ingame..though making money by TT has been sadly, nerfed.

    In PvP as Karmah said, the nix is the best pet, and the best in general grinding. Although it too costs $ (around $200-$250, same price as herc), a good substitute is the Petite Sawfly flying pet, which you can use at level 8.
