It doesn't count as 40% when Ocean orb is 40% off of the price that was already 33% off... What you are looking for is 60% off. 3rd grade math PW staffs b:bye.

    It seems since you're missing a few braincells, I'll explain this. Try reading it slowly so you understand.
    40 gold per ocean orb was with an already 33% sale. Which once the sale ended, if they ever planned on putting the orbs back it would've been at 75 gold.
    So, now they announce the new sale (40%) and it's 30 gold, which means they somehow lied to us and the last sale, was no sale and ocean orbs are permanently 50 gold or they just screwed up and can't even keep track of their own boutique item prices, they just blatantly throw stuff in and push a big red "SALE" sign on it and sit back, relax and start to help the people requesting through tickets for their maximum zen charge to be lifted/increased.

    It costs less than usual and theyre in the shop which is unlike usual.

    Who cares who accurate the maths is? + refine for - Money = good for us.

    And + sales for PWE is great for them. (Theres no loss to consider, its a tickbox on a database to put them in the shop).

    Yep, my mistake, normal price is 70, and it's now on sale for 30, so its actually about 57% off.


    Edit: oops, normally 75, so 60% off.

    i still dont know who in the &%*# would think its a good idea to sped $75 on an orb that will give you +1 lvl... if i had 75 gold im turning about 65 of that into coins and buying a lot of smaller things or a ton of packs to make the game more fun... but i guess if you got bank like that then you got it like that... b:shocked

    10* orbs are now 50 gold. 40% off 50 is 30.

    So i have a question.

    How the heck did they change the prices of the Dragon Orbs and even put the Ocean in with out a maintance. I ask this becuase last time the forgot to put the 10 pack of 1* on sale they (GMs) that it could not be fixed until the next maintance did we just catch a lie???? b:shockedb:angry

    Yes. I already bought 5 with the 650k gold I stocked up last week. It's costing me less to +10 my axes, but that's not my point. They did the same thing with packs. When packs were already at 75 silver, 25% off, the next sale was announced as 33% off. 33% off of the original price would have been 67 silver, but of course it was based off the already sale price of 75 silver. So 33% off of 75 silver became 50 silver. GG

    Technically you're right. They had a Black Friday sale of 33% off the Ocean Orbs which were 75 gold normally, the sale price as everyone I'm sure recalls was 50 gold. My wife pointed this out to me last night. Of course, if we also do the math, which was done in the first page, 40% off to get 30 gold comes from 50 gold. I guess they made that the normal price instead *shrugs*. I don't see the big deal one way or another.

    The sale "packages" are probably added way before the maintenence they are activated on. The change in price (Yes CHANGE) of the rep was very muh unexpected even for PWE, its possible they actually had to change something.

    Or of course it was so they could copy the database of people who bought at full price while it was frozen so they would have an easier time refunding them.
