Will there be another general summer or reputation sale in february or later this month?

i need an answer, just answer yes or no.

    I predict there is a 99.999999% chance that you will not receive a reply from staff with an accurate time estimation of if and when the rep sale returns.

    I doubt they would have a second sale this soon, though they will have one eventually.

    When they have it I plan on buying rank IX on one toon and rank VIII on an alt.

    i dont want an exact time or anything, i just want to know if there will be sales or not. some one tell me reliable answer as soon as possible.

    They dont reveal coming sales in PWI. Than people would know when to stack up on gold and when not to. People would buy out all gold in AH to sell it of 1-2 mil each when G.Summers sales start lol.

    But of course there will be another General Summer sale, they just wont tell you if its in 1 week or 1 month. They normally have a sale that makes gold prices go through the roof about every second/third week anyway.

    A reliable answer would have to come from a GM. I'm willing to bet my soul that a GM won't give an answer either way.

    Why? Simple, sales are happen suddenly so that people will rush to grab whatever's being sold. Think about it, how many times have you gone shopping and seen something on sale and bought it even if it wasn't what you came for? It's those "These boots (or whatever item) are how much off?! Sold!" reactions that stores rely on to get rid of extra inventory. It's different in PWE's case since they literally have an unlimited inventory but it works off the same basic principle: item goes on sale, people rush to charge zen, item sells like hotdogs at a ball game (well, nothing sells that fast b:shocked).

    If I had to guess though, I think we could expect another rep sale sometime in the future since the last one was such a success and there are still quite a few people who weren't able to take advantage of it at the time. When that'll be is up for debate but I doubt it'll happen soon.

    I'd be willing to bet that the next Gen. Summer sale takes place at Chinese New Year.

    Yup. Very simple and decent answer, even if it's not a yes or no.

    Their sales of rep and stuff comes from people who think that the sale is temporary so they'll need to buy whichever product ASAP. This tactic though has produced a lot of QQing (some of it rightful) because of the unethical way PWI has used it in the past (i.e. original anni packs in summer 2009).

    I would imagine they might be a rep sale sometime around the release of the new classes. All those new alts people will want to buy rep for = good cash for PWI

    Not as profitable as some might think. I'm sure that there will be people who were too short-sighted to do so and others who, for whatever reason, were unable to but I'm confident that many of the people who did have the means to buy their rank have most likely already stocked up for the new classes.

    What the smarter thing to do would be for PWE to wait a few months after the release of the new classes. Anyone who had rep ready and anyone who could buy rep from other players would be set. Those less fortunate would be scraping up what they can. Two or three months would give the "Wow, these new classes are awesome!" luster to fade and frustration at how difficult it is to gain rep would have had time to set in. That time would have also given any new players who were drawn in by the new classes to figure out the mechanics of the game and how rep works. Throw in a rep sale and voila.

    Unethical? Hell yes. Profitable? $_$

    Why is that?
    Because implementing rep sales is as easy as flipping a switch. Those that wish to make their class OP that havnt already bought rep from last sale will buy from it, and the short sighted people wont.
    Then there could be another sale 2 months afterwards for the short sighted people.

    Point is; the can have as many sales as they want, whenever they want.
    Not like they're gonna run outa stock, amirite?

    thnx for commenting, i havent got time to read all the replies, but i did scan through them a little. n yes, the most reliable answers are from the GMs, the problem is... i had sent them tickets asking the same questions, but havent got a reply yet.
