Head Hunter Problem

I was trying to stack my bounty hunts when I came across a little problem, I wasn't able to accept BH II and III again even though I had the bounty orders in my inventory. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but I was wondering if someone could help out? Or fix the problem xD

    You can only pick one of each BH1, BH2 and BH3 in an in-game day. That is, you can only complete the three once a day. If you pick them up and deliver during the same in-game day, you won't get new ones.

    I had just completed BH 51. I've Completed my BH before and gotten BH II and III right afterwards, The bounty orders didn't work this time for some reason though.

    You can only pick up one of each BH (I/II/III) per day, regardless of how many orders you have. Also, if you already have the BH you're trying to pick up in your quest log, you can't get it again until you turn that one in first.

    This is untrue, I've picked up BH II and III in one day, Then got BH I the next, then turn it in and get BH II and III again. This is the way I've been doing it for the past 20 levels..

    The most likely cause of this is that you tried to cash in your BH quests on the same day as you got them. By "Same Day", I mean between 0:00:00 and 23:59:59 PST.

    So long as you cash in your quests on a day AFTER you receive them, you can continue your stack. Otherwise you lose your stack and you have to start it over again. It does not matter if you got the BH Orders, as they will expire 1/2 hour after you cash in the BH quests.

    Got it, after I hit 60 it gave me I II and III at the same time, I thought I had waited a whole day but guess not. xD Guess I'll restart My stack and go from there :P

    As long as it's not the exact same one it doesn't interfere. Say day 1, you get Qianji I, Drake II, Ofotis III. If on day 2 you turn in I, you can still get II/III unless day 2's BH set is also Qianji I, Drake II, Ofotis III. Basically, each BH I, II, or III for a different boss is a different quest.

    Well, even if it is within one day for you, it might be within two days for the server.

    For example, I live in GMT + 2, so I can pick up my day's BH at 10:00 am. That means that if I pick up BHs at, say, 7:00 am, I can complete them and deliver them at 11:00 am and I'll get two sets of BH for my "day", whereas for the game it's actually two days.

    And of course, even if I do two sets of BHs in my own day, it's still maxed at 1 set per that one 24 hour period.

    This thread is full of lies.

    I can do BH1, BH2, and BH3 on one day, wait 3 days, turn them in, and it will only give me BH1 and 2. or 1 and 3. Or 2 and 3. Sometimes only 1.

    I've had so much trouble with head hunter randomly unstacking my alts, I've given up on stacking.

    Squad leader QQ's about me not being stacked? Good for them, they're out a Cleric (cause that's the only char I do BH on anymore).

    BH is so awful in this game, it's not even funny. Either fix it, or take it out.

    I've had it where I have stashed the bounty order to another character with NO BH's in quest log, and they can't even get a BH beyond the only one they can get for that day (BH1).

    Not to rule out the possibilities of a bug, but here is what can legitimately prevent the extra quests from becoming available:

    1. Stashing to another character. That will only ever work if they are in the same level range. A BH1 token from killing someone inside wraithgate as an 80-89 bounty will NOT allow you to take the BH2 in the 90-99 range when you level up.

    2. You can't have two of the SAME quest - if you alrerady have BH2-polearm then if today's BH2 is polearm, you can't cash in the token and take that quest until you complete the one you already have.

    3. You can't accept a new quest for a particular bounty multiple times in a 'day' (the madness of when a server day actually is have been discussed already) - doesn't matter that you used up a different BH1 token, you get todays BH2 once only. You CAN save the BH1 *quest* and thus get tomorrows BH2 without having to do tomrrows BH1 if you want.

    4. You CAN stack as many different BH quests as you like - as long as they are different. And BH1-pyro is a different quest to BH2 pyro. I've managed to get 8 BHs completed in a single 69 run before now, though I did it by not cashing in quests for like a week beforehand.

    5. the following sequence pretty much always works:
    Go to the head hunter.
    Finish all your BH3 quests that you've killed the boss for. No tokens, just XP.
    Finish *one* BH2 quests. Get token.
    Accept new BH3 quest (can't clash)
    Finish *one* BH1 quest. Get token.
    Accept new BH2 quest (if you have any outstanding BH2 quests, this may clash and not be available.)
    Accept new BH1 quest (again, may clash)

    That system works, and if you do all 3 quests every day,works perfectly. If you sometimes leave a quest un-done then you can end up only partially stacked. It also has the advantage of re-stacking if interrupted - so no need to exit in the middle of a dungeon.

    The only hard thing to remember is to actually visit the headhunter before entering the dungeon.

    To correctly stack:

    Do BH I, Turn In, Pick up BH II, End day WITHOUT Completing
    Pick up I, Turn in BH I and II, Pick up BH II and III, End day without completing
    Pick up I, Turn in ALL three, Pick up II and III, END
    Repeat last step
