    • Earthgaurd should not be charged mirages for skills

    Unless mirages will be made abundant after the expansion, whether through quests or whateve, using mirages to cast certain skills is not a good idea. It looks like a sneaky way to get earthgaurd players to spend more. I don't know if it's a rumor or not but someone mentioned that the Mystic's res buff will cost mirages.

      no mystics skill uses mirages..and making threads about this won't change anything (from previous experience)

      i know what u mean, an i believe there no mirages for any skills. google translate dosent realy translate it correctly. back when seeker/mystics was announced everybody going over to chinees forums an google translate said it cost 1 gold to cast skills, when it was to be 1 spark. so dont st 100% what u see its translated to 1 mirages may be bad translated an could be 1 spark as well,though i can be wrong just wait an find out b:chuckle

      Let just hope that sage and demon don't cost mirage stone or PWE don't make it cost (sort of low chance...). But CN version do cost mirage stone.

      hmm like isaid i culd be wrong, we have what 1 month till released. if u ask my opinion,if u see cn version an oure play looks same,layout different, gms over here can do small changes to the game here there pay to play, so to maximun money profits they probley do use mirages for stuns...but what i think is when guild bases come outwhat i think might happen is

      them stones u can craft to apm stats for few mins might need mirages as well idk,there ton mirages on server bc tb quest,marrages quest,wq, an so on. i say *** it an npc them, i started svaing from quest have 130 of them,but my luck is there be skills cost mirages after i npc thousands of them in my time b:shocked oh well im excited so we see when expansion cums

      Not sure about that translation, mooy. Google translate says 'magic stone'; could it not be feasible that the skill consumes chi (as in, say, perfect stones; genie chi) not mirages? That'd make wayyyy more sense. Anybody out there somewhat fluent in Chinese who can verify this? So that you don't have to scroll back, the word in question is 幻仙石.

      Oh, just thought of something else too. If you'll recall, they announced that there will be short-term bonuses you can imbue to armor & weps, etc etc. It could be that whatever these new earthguard skills are consuming does not yet exist in game. In any case, we'll only know 'for sure for sure for sure' when either (a) a GM responds, or (b) we get to see for ourselves come February.

      Edit: just read your sig, apparently you are fluent in Chinese; alrighty then, can you find another place with the same word, where the meaning of the word is 'mirage' without a doubt? Something I can verify, likkkke say, a Chinese site that says 'you use 幻仙石 to refine your gear and make the stats better', or '幻仙石 are given out as the reward for winning in TW'. The use of the word in a sentence that describes something that I know mirages do/come from/etc.

      Yes, on refine threads, but since I don't have a Wanmei account so I can't search for it. Perfect Stone is call 元石. Chi call 元气. I can tell you more if you want to.

      Meaning:
      lvl 1 terr. 300 mirage stone.

      If certain skills really do cost a mirage stone or two, I think the spells a nail in their coffin. PWE changed the decomposition of lower grade equipment into stones over mirages; something to deter botting or gold farming.

      So, this thread makes me wonder:

      If some of the seeker skills require chi stones (both perfect stones and mirage celestones are chi stones), which of them require regular chi? Will sekeres be the first class to not use sparks?

      The interesting thing is, since(according to Mooy)some EarthGuard skills cost mirage stones, that means the current TW map holders have a very nice supply of mirages on their hands.

      But that could also mean in the future we will get an announcement from GM's saying "After reviewing and taking notes on the TW, we have come to the conclusion the current plan in place is not working effectively.We are currently in the process of finding a new strategy to help players interested in TW." (Just speculating here)

      Although if that happens it will just become plainly obvious to most players it is just a way of taking the majority of mirages out of the game which might soon appear in the boutique.

      Oh, so completely NERFING the refine rates wasn't enough? b:surrender I cannot even get some weapons to +1 with refining aids and 30 mirages. Failed 100% of the time. 30 mirages wasted, 15 tienkang stones wasted.

      This really IS becoming a cash shoppers game. I used to be able to get a weapon to +3 with just mirages, or mirages and refining stones. Now, I buy stones from the botique, and they don't even do anything...

      I haven't really felt like rage-quitting PWI before.

      Same here... I wasted about 200 mirages on my tt90 boots so far and they never even got +3. That's even more money in mirages than I paid for the boots themselves b:sweat

      They're +2 now and meh... it will have to do.

      This is no rumor, that's how it is in Wanmei. All we can do now is wait and see if PWE going to charge us mirage stones.

      LAWL...OFT. Besides... They are a very very common BH100 Reward... so why are people QQing? I don't do TW and I have probably 1,000 Mirages in my bank from BHs and Decomping OHT 3stars. And as for Refining rates being nerfed? I think you're just unlucky. I got all of my gear +5 without refining aids or Dragon Orbs. Its all in luck and finding the patterns in Success and fail.

      I've just recently +3'd gear with just mirages...
      Less than 100 mind you.

      Can usually get any armor to +2 with only 15 mirages or less.

      If you want to QQ about the game and threaten to rage quit, at least find a valid reason...

      If I were someone new, I don't think I'd be too happy to find out I had to pay 10k+ to use some of my skills. Or find out the hard way when my tiny collection of mirages vanishes unexpectedly.

      Considering all the uses for Mirage Stones, it seems like a bad choice to pick for a reagent. Especially for keeping any new people who first heard of pwi with this expansion and won't be familiar with how to get them.
