Yes it does : better equipment, better refine, faster levelling, etc...

And at the price ingame gold is selling for now, even playing 24/7 will nor compensate for that.

Too bad, you came here 2 years too late.

    Short answer: yes.

Long answer: endgame gear is available directly in the cash shop via gambling packs, as well as refining items being easier to access with real money. You can grind to buy gold (the PWI "real money" currency), however money is near impossible to grind anymore, and you would either need to spent months grinding for what someone can get with real money, or start merchanting, which by this point is starting to become oversatuated to the point it is hard to get a start. You can very well enjoy this game without cash, however the odds of competing in PvP at endgame is not in your favor unless you play with your wallet.

you can get anything without paying anything.
if you pay, you can get it faster/without much effort.

News at 7: Cash shopping in PWI does indeed give you a massive boost in PK. Cash shopping your way to victory in PK is a guaranteed(no money back though) way of lengthening your epeen by 2 inches!

Paying real money gets you "Gold", usually at the rate of $1 = 1 "Gold"

But you can buy "Gold" from other players using in-game money, so a free player can buy anything a cash-shop player can.

It's taken me 2 years to build up about 2,000 Gold without paying any real-life money, which makes me roughly equal to somebody who has been paying $80 per month for 2 years.

Obviously, players who have spent $10,000+ on the game make me look poor and can demolish me in-game, but personally I'm quite happy having "only" $2,000 worth of stuff I paid nothing for.

Stupid questions get stupid answers. b:cute

The game has been around for 3ish years, with a few newer servers (Lost City being the oldest PVP server)

As for skill cap, it's incredibly low. Basically PVP and PVE in this game revolve around gear scaling and refines which are basically only attainable from the cash shop. PVP is particulary bad in this regard as it devolved into "the guy who spent $20k USD (seriously) on this game" oneshotting all the other players, whether they're better or not.

It wasnt a stupid question, there are games that has donations or things to buy with cash, but you can get those things in the game for free. Also, i meant level cap not skill cap but thanks for answering.

level cap is 105. As well it's theoretically possible to get things for free with just in game money but it takes quite a long grind.

I don't think you understand what sarcasm means. That was hardly sarcastic, it was merely a different approach to bringing you correct information.
