TT99/Late-Game Equipment choice

Hi guys, just got to 99 and was pondering about which items to choose. Am mostly a pve player so my considerations are less about pvp/pk. Currently 3str/2dex axe-fist build and like many others, trying to go for the -int gears b:surrender

My question is, should i go:
1) TT99 LA ornaments and TT99 HA wrist+boots for the 2 -int set bonus
or
2)TT99 HA ornaments and TT99 LA wrist+boots?

I did a quick comparison using pwcalc and the first set up seem to give me higher pdef but slightly lower mdef; slightly higher HP but lower patk.
I suppose optimally the neck/belt should be swapped for cube neck and warsong belt(?) but am strapped for coins at the moment.

Any suggestions?

Anyway, i'm aware there are pros/cons for going full HA and LA/HA. Probably not a good idea to go LA ornaments going by most responses i've read.
For the moment i think i will do HA ornaments and LA wrist+boots until i can afford the HA chest, nirvana HA pants for more interval, then swap out the neck/belt for cube/warsong <-- good or bad idea?

    Agreed. Plus, when HA ornies are refined you will have more pdef and mdef with LA boots and wrist than with HA boots/wrist and LA ornies. Then if you switch out for magic ornies the rest of your build will still be balanced. The LA ornament/HA armors build does give slightly more evasion and hp, though.

    How I decided my build was I worked my endgame backwards. Did I want 4.0 base, or 3.33 base (both still spark to 5.0 and are permaspark)? Was I going for Nirvana pants (then I can't count those toward my TT99 -int bonus)? Since I was going for 4.0 base (that's changed because my endgame weapon has changed) I needed 2 pieces of LA and 2 pieces of HA, but had 5 pieces to work with (necklace, belt, wrist, plate, boots). Of these, which could I sub out for a much better piece? I thought the cube neck was best, so the remaining 4 pieces to divide LA/HA were belt, wrist, plate, and boots. They all are similar but I liked how the belt refined for pdef, and I like the HA plate better than the LA plate.

    There were the key factors in how I made my endgame gear decisions. Some have changed but not by much.

    Agreed with that.

    Do it this way what gear you won't absolute end game i wanted more mag def so i got LA armor. Then i wanted puzzle neck cause that is very very good so went belt instead neck because when i nirvana pants id lose bonus of having HA chest and leg.

    So use PWI Calculator is best bet and just test it out over and over see what you like on the stats

    La arms/boots, HA belt/pl8 and nirvana legs. For better results of survivalbility.
    AP classes are a real butt pounding...

    Don't waste your money on Warsong belt. Get your OHT belt, it's free, gives both pdef/mdef, and you can spend the 50mil elsewhere. Like towards a Nirvana helm.

    I made a LA Nirvana pants cast from Lunar and rest TT99HA/Prot Cube neck and mdef belt. Lunar pants give me nifty amount of mdef. I have 15.6k pdef and 6.1k mdef full buffed, and 11k+ pdef/mdef with magic marrow. Currently working on getting my OHT belt so to further increase my survivability.

    Full HA with mdef modifier somewhere in your gear is good for pve. I can solo Belial with Bloodpaint which is good enough for me.

    Before I went demon as a 4APS base sage, I had LA wrist / boots with HA belt / plate and Nirvana pants. If you're demon and look for survivability I'd toss the LA and just stick with full HA 3.33APS base.

    Obviously LA ornaments are of no use to BMs in both PVE nor PVP, and the most ideal thing to go with is a 5% HP elemental necklace... so it kind of comes down to HA ornament belt with LA armor pieces for magic defense.

    but isnt it cheaper to get 99 HA wrist and boots and get LA ornies then LA arms and boots and HA belt and top?

    EDIT:what i really wanted to do was get cube neck and have LA arms and boot and HA plate and belt and HA nirvana pants

    Since I went demon so long ago, I have had it a bit easier with not having to worry so much on the gear choices. I was then, and still am HA pure with Mdef ords.
    Now, while waiting for transfer stones to ever go on sale again, I am looking at how to keep my 5.0 demon spark while having full Nirvana armor ( swap out lunar cloak for nirvana )
    what I have come up with is dropping cube neck and warsong belt for PVE and use the HA ords. realisticly evasion has no place in the game, has not really for a long time since before PWI back on the My servers. By having the HA ords I can maintain my 5.0 demon spark and still have my full Nirvana II and cube neck, warsong belt for TW wars, where you seldom ever need 5.0 as a BM, you need the spike dmg and AOEs.

    as a "cheap" option you can do LA arms/boots HA ornaments for pve till you can afford HA chest abd a cube/lunar neck

    i feel really stupid and slow for not thiking of that option...wow guess i can transfer the HA necklace to sin once im done using it

    Anyway to update, i made an impulse buy and got myself the TT99 HA chest >.>
    So now i have the TT99 LA wrist+boots and one piece of TT99 HA ....

    What should be the next piece of TT99 HA to get? Probably have enough for either the belt or the leggings...but the leggings will be recasted to nirvana in future (doesn't seem like anytime soon though b:surrender)
    If i choose to get the belt i could have a slot for the necklace which gives a useful 5% hp - cheap sky demon or an expensive cube neck.
    Or maybe just get the HA necklace and use a good mdef belt?

    Ya just get legs first so get bonus then when get close to nirvana it then go ahead and get belt or neck.

    Belt myself i went with that just because i wanted puzzle neck but look up some good necks and belts choose the best one you want then get the opposite on 99.

    lunar recast >>>> than tt due to the oh so needed def boost to compensate for the LA
