People cash shop the game for the same reason people spend money for cable/satellite tv, movies, concerts, etc. For entertainment. Even though the value is not tangible it does have have meaning and serves a purpose for the player at that certain moment in their life.

    Having said that,

b:shocked Time to dump another $1000 into the game

Just kidding. I'm not that devoid of a life.

Cash shopped a bit more at my start here, not sure how much I spent but got :

    - 25 gold flyer for my main (when my limited one expired...nice marketing move making me want a faster one after) b:surrender

    - 3 times both marriage packs (2 of those times they were in special).. 1st 2 packs, lady said no as I had them, so sold them cheap to buy TT armor..

    - 7.5 gold flyer for my alt

    - Few tiger/anniversary packs

    - Smilies with remaining silvers.

    - Sold some golds for in-game cash. (But never really had more then 6 mils I think (Except when, like said higher, sold my 2 marriage packs that went so fast for full HA TT armor)

Last time I cash shopped was I "think" start of December (20$), now I feel I put enough and if I want something, I fill free offers or just farm it.
Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

im a non cash shopper my self but I always see this pattern...it seems the people who don't cashshop alot are the ones complaining about hardcore cashshoppers lol. One sentence..

(If you got it..spend it.) I dont got it so I can't spend it lol

i did the occasional cashshop just to make my basic gameplay more enjoyable

got a decent mount, decent aerogear, some charms , expanded bank and inventory, and bought a few tiger packs, because i am a sucker for the flashy sale sign b:pleased

truth is, i find myself with 20 gold left, and nothing i want to spend it on, so i am just holding it for later game

I tried the free offer thing again last night. OMG it drove me crazy. After 20 minutes and seemingly endless pages of offers from just one site for 50 zen I gave up. I could have earned more farming herbs in the same amount of time I wasted.

I cash shop because I just don't have the patience to farm for the money I want for my skills. I don't go insane and buy packs, I just put enough money in to keep up with the good gear (not full Warsoul, Rank or +12 refines.. just good) and weapons. I also enjoy having a good mount, flyer and fash for my main and alts.

I tend to trade gold for in-game coin and buy items rather than actually buy ITEMS through the boutique. I put money in so I can have fun NOW rather than waiting and being annoyed. Downfall of being an adult I guess, being able to throw money at it until it sticks (it never does).

    This +1000000
The main reason I stick with this game and spend money on it is paradoxically because I don't "have" to. The boutique here really appeals to "want" (fun stuff) rather than "need"(basically becoming pay to play).
Cortimis - 101 Demon Barbarian. 100% legit, no goonzs/no APS

Cortimi - 9X Demon Seeker. Total garbage and I will kill you with it anyways.

Im still questioning the likes of the mechanics in the game like:

    - Some of the skill books will never drop out of FB99 or no way to get the Mysterious Page books???
    - Heaven Rage Helmet and the whole boots thing (but I still have to investigate the unicorn forest still yet.)
    - The armour repair bill at the end of the day for things like Trophy Mode/Success Mode and the repair bill for things like Delta.

    .
Time won't wake/make you wiser, but it will definitely wound you.

Are you kind of seeing what I'm saying. b:bye

I cash shopped once (20 dollars I think?) because I needed money for skills / gear. Now I get enough coins with Nirvana.
