The Faction Logo Issues

However the game accepts the name as the faction name while we r opening the faction and does not accept 1 character and Logo doesnt display, we want a change with it , The ones that think like me please make GMs hear your voice here so that the things can be changed in a game that we spend real cash for

    Our faction name is Turkiye (but 2 dots above u, special Turkish letter), and lvl 3. But we can not use the flag at the left side of our name Turkiye. Because of the Turkish special letter "u". If we will not use our modified faction flag in our faction name, why did you accept the name Turkiye as a faction name????

    This has been brought up previously and the issue being clearly stated within the guild creation that foreign characters, symbols etc are not allowed. It is unfortunate yes but this is why it's so important to read everything first and then make a decision.

    If the guild is important enough to you, re-create it without the use of any special characters IE: use letters a-Z and nothing more on an alt, then have your members transfer over.

    What not allowed shouldnt be accepted at the beginning and "DURING THE FACTION CREATION IT DOES NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THAT THE LOGO WONT BE ACCEPTED BUT THE NAME WILL BE" so this is cheating or an issue which they dont want to improve for a reason and it ll be changed just follow this tread you will see

    hopefully the poeple at ic3 tell you to learn better english before complaining about something that is entirely your fault.

    dont put trashable things in the forums, learn how to use a forum first and english isnt my mother language, what a shame on you that u cant speak a single word of my language and i can have conversations with the people in 5 different languages, go educate yourself to be able to discuss with me about english, while i speak i sound probably 1000 times better than you do, this isnt a forum to discuss about william sheakspere, go back to school and read about angulos which is the earlier name of "ENGLISH LANGUAGE" came from angulo saxons and it has never been called american in the history as it s still not called so, improve yourself, it is never late if you are still alive

    At the Faction Supervisor, under the information the NPC has available to read, spcifically, under 'Faction Icon', the following is stated:
    Level 3 Factions can upload a custom icon to use as thier faction symbol.
    This can only be done once every 2 weeks. The icon must be uploaded as a 16* 16 .tga file size 16 *16

    On clicking that link there is a paragraph:
    Please remember that inappropriate or incompatible faction names will also be denied a faction logo. To make sure your faction name is compatible, simply check if all the symbols can be entered into a character name.


    At this point, if I was unsure about my Faction name, I would then have sent in a ticket to make doubly sure everything was ok


    The information is there, you just need to actually do as they suggest at the Faction Supervisor and go and read the support or request support if unsure, a good policy for anything really, if in doubt, ask

    Try going to This page and submitting a ticket regarding your issue.

    As stated above, it is probably due to the foreign characters included in the guild title.
    Yes it's not fair, it sucks. We know and have read about it many many times.

    Haha, you're very interesting indeed, I think I like it. However I meant no hostility to you in my answer though it is likely a general part in the EULA that they reserve the right to change the services etc. and have a firm hold over what they define as being part of their customer service.

    You're dealing with a branch in the US when the tree itself resides in another country and is bound by it's own laws which makes it difficult to pry into on an international level.

    while i was opening the faction it has accepted the character and the game is called "INTERNATIONAL" with all the international services you provide you have to give international options too as accepting special characters by "WORKING FOR YOUR VERY OWN MONEY" , thanks for your respond and please check the image that at the link is below;

    thanks for you being really respectfull instead of being a bull....er as some others my friend and however tickets dont help anything, everytime every problem i have to ask to the support team of pwe,i get an answer as "open a tread in the forum and get more people want the change then we will review and do the required changes" so that s why i m using forum atm

    Unfortunately while I do see what you're saying because you're trying to exploit a loop hole, the situation remains that you are under contract and it explicitly states that IT IS NOT ALLOWED, it in itself is a game flaw that more or less allows people to create similar factions to what they wanted but are already taken.

    the justification itself will be along the lines that you did in fact create a guild with a prohibited character and as it is not allowed but creatable, which gives them the right to enforce w/e they will as a punishment.

    This is what in the U.S. we call a "catch 22" where you are stuck in a bind intentionally made to be that way.

    You r right there and making the customer spends money for a service which s explained different than what it really is in fact and that s the "catch 1" lol :D


    It does not explain anything about the logo issue by the npc and the service is allowing you get a logo, unless it is not explained that Logo isnt possible in some situations, it has to be given, which is one of the service includes and as you said they have the rights of making changes on the service without warning but service isnt changed and the new updates have to be well explained after any change and ther hasnt been any explanation

    U Guys really don't understand us...
    It's an international game that you can see in the name like pwINTERNATIONAL...So we can use special letters in the game its our rights lol?i know you can understand us so just let us to make noise about it...

    yes we just wanna make them hear our voice, you dont have to be against us, because we dont want nothing bad for you guys we just wanna change to be able to see our logo which we were looking forward to see and which we spent the money for and please dont forget "WE ARE ALSO PLAYERS" just like you guys, if you guys dont support us who will do?

    %70 of the players play in U.S.A so we know you are from U.S.A you can understand our feelings you live in a free country freedom is the most important thing in your country so we just wanna wish some freedom and some rights about our and the other countries lang. ...And just wanna use a picture which is symbols our country like your flag...And expensive to make a new fac. for us...i'm a student and the others are working hard...

    Did you try this? IF you did and it allowed you to make a character, then you have a case.
    IF you tried it and it did not allow you to make a character, then you have no case.
    IF you did not try it, then you have no case what so ever.

    IF you had gone just a little bit out of your way to make sure there would be no issues with making a faction name that can use an icon, then you would not have had to make this thread.

    All the information is out there. This is not kindergarten, somethings you have to take responsibility for yourself. As someone else mentioned, recreate the faction using the naming convention you are allowed to use, then submit your logo. Yes you will have lost the $$ you spent getting the old one to level 3, but hey, if you did it once, you can do it again... we believe in you!!

    This problem is very silly. I'm an old player for pw. I used to play pwms and I'm now on pwi.

    I knew this game about 3 or 4 years.

    I watched developer diaries and other things.

    This game was build in japanese or some kind of language. You changed this game to english and support other languages and their own special characters. But when the subject is turned into Turkish, always you say no. Maybe this is not a big problem changing characters. But i think you are all racist.

    I know lots of things about games, programming, language problems, character problems, because this is my job also. I am a software development specialist in a huge telecommunication company.

    You say the chars must be a to z. Come on. Every day i am working on many projects and they all in turkish character set. This is not a hard thing(supporting languages).

    And I read your forum posts. BTW you = game team or whoever
    You say u must read instructions. I read most of the instructions in game, but the language that you use in game is not english. I know english well not perfect, and my education was in 100% english. My exams and all things were in enlish. Because of this dont lie to us, u dont know english too.

    I'm spending money on game. But because of this, because of u dont accept our flag, and u accept all others flags, faction names, and illegal chars, i will quit this game and never return any of pw products. And i will tell all my friends to quit game and never use pw products too. They will all do the same because the game master or managers or whatever who this people are, they are racist.
    And they do nothing about game. The game is full of bugs, full of lag. You create a christmas event all ppl in the city has same lag. How can this possible. This shows u dont care any entertainment and any ppl. You only care money.

    My last words. This game is suck. You dont know anything about entertainment and respect. So i suggest u close the company, because u r acting really absurd.
