which is better: getting R8 or getting HS?!

You cannot sell Rank stuff.

But Rank 8 is endgame, you won't have anything after them.

Rank 8 bow is one of the best weapons you can have in the game. The only reason to even consider Heaven Shatterer would be the debuff.

Also, Rank 8 comes with the chest armor, which is the best armor you can have for an Archer.

Also, considering HS and Rank 8 at level 73 is a bit much, considering that you still have quite a few decent weapons on the way, such as Vast Land or Broad Land on 85.

No, the time you invest is mostly wasted.

For example, at my level, in an hour I can grind about 150k and 1,000 Dragon Points. The Dragon Points alone get me a single Wraith Officer's Badge, worth 25 reputation. I can buy at least one more with the coins I got, which would total 50.

Basically, it's better to get a high level, farm coins and buy your rep than actually farm the rep.

R8 bow is the same damage and speed as a g15 Nirvana slingshot except it can't seal or stun and is much cheaper. Being able to purge though is pretty epic and can easily allow you to take out heavily refined targets.

You have to put your time into gathering reputation.

You can do this in game (helping in FBs, and using every other reputation building mechanism). But one of the fastest ways to build reputation is turning in wraith's officer's badges. You will need almost ten thousand of them to get rank 8, but ten thousand wraith's officers badges might be easier to for you get than helping in thousands of FBs (or maybe not quite so many if enough of the FBs you help in are high level). You can make wraith officer badges from perfect tokens of luck using the "luck" tab of the boutique agent, but this will not be very efficient.

Wraith's Officers badges were very cheap, last month. If you get them now, you will have to pay higher prices.

Some people speculate that there will be future sales on the badges. If they turn out to be right, one approach would be to wait for another sale.

However, when they offer a sale like that, they are competing with themselves. They pull in some money during the sale, but they dry up the higher priced cash flow that they would have had otherwise. Also, if their sales are too consistently predictable, they remove some of the "buy now" pressure that they get from one time sales events or other mechanisms which result in rising prices.

But their previous sales history suggests rather strongly that prices are going to come down over time and that they plan on dropping the dollars needed for any current level of value.

So, either:

1) Wait for another sale.
2) Pay a lot now.
3) Find another alternative.

The badges were 50 Badges for 45 silver. With that, the gold prices jumped a lot so a single badge cost about 9,000 coins.

The armor are not free, the NPC will ask for some coins. For Rank 8 pieces, it's:
Weapon: 2,000,000 coins
Chest armor: 1,000,000 coins
Leggings: 1,000,000 coins
Belt: 1,000,000 coins

And it's not a complete yet, it's just weapon, chest armor, leggings and belt.

Also, for Rank 8, you need level 100.

As well as prices go i would say best is for lvl 80 get TT80 gold bow Crimson : Soulsmasher or w/e until you get either R8 or Heavens Shatterer either way the HS could be sold to get R8 when you get 100 so idk about that one but TT80 gold bow is OP ftw i remember it having as much ap as my HS +6 when its proc goes off ijs

Fleuri may have failed math. In the interest of keeping you from doing the same, i'd like to note that 25 x almost a thousand = almost 25 thousand. Not 200,000.

Also, what happened to reforging the HS? Reforged nirvana bow can have debuff or adv. debuff.
