DQ vs Mats?

I just started in the Lost City Server (PVP.) I been making my money by selling DQ. I just made 80k from nothing. Now I wanna start buying for low and selling so that way I can start raking in the dough. Does DQ do well in PVP servers or would Mats be better? I been looking at Mats and have enough lvl 1 mats to open a catshop. What's better for profit or what's your own personal preference?

I haven't really looked into the whole selling DQ's on Harshlands yet, but as far as I'm aware, there's not much asking for it. I mean, you could advertise in WC that you're selling DQ mats for points, and that would attract people....and let's face it, you won't have a lot of competition I don't think....there's not a lot of DQ merchants out there because not everybody is into the whole "DQ Point system" anyway.
Hell, it's their loss! I love getting free stuff!
I would personally try it, tbh......I think I'll do that now. b:chuckle0 -
For the past week I haven't been selling much. My main is in a PVE server, Sanctuary and every night I get a lot of business. This is why I'm deciding whether or not to switch to mats. I'd do Mirages but I don't think 90k is enough to start up.0

From all the reading in the forums I think the servers are about the same when it comes to merchanting. What works in one should work in the others too. For a beginner buying and selling mats for those low level manufacturing skills could be ok. There are a lot of other opportunities too like buying and selling or just out right farming herbs for apothecary pots too. Don't expect much profit wise dealing with low level stuff though.I **** bigger than you...
Shut up and play the game.....Damn0 -

I find with selling mats it's usually... sell nothing for hours on end, then suddenly somebody buys all your stacks. It makes it quite hard to judge prices.0
