well usually i am bored on sundays with football season coming to a close and NASCAR(yes i love racing i am a redneck and proud of it) so I will take a SS of all the maps of the servers like the person did about what 1-2 years ago o.x?

Sadly i dont have the patience to name all the faction(I will name my server only)

    Wow. Looks like Dreamweaver, Archosaur, and to a lesser degree Sanctuary are the only servers with interesting TW maps.

    I know that in the case of Dreamweaver, Calamity controlled the whole map at the beginning of November '10, and then disbanded, mostly reforming as Regenesis (the light-green shaded territories on the Dreamweaver TW map). So that's why Dreamweaver has a varied TW map.

    Did something similar happen on Archosaur and/or Sanctuary?

    Nefarious for months and months had 3 tws every time slot. They finally couldnt handle it, and lost the map.


    interesting note regicide last night lost Etherblade, Archosaur and Plain of Farewell on a triple attack from Vindicate/Enelysion and Legendary


    Archosaur i am guessing is because it is still a brand new server, if i am not mistaken less than 6 months old?

    Actually, it's 10 months old as of tomorrow. The Archosaur server was opened on March 17, 2010.

    As far as I know, Sanctuary has never been mono-chromatic on the TW map. It's been between some large factions of recent, Regicide, Vindicate, Legendary, Nefarious, Enelysion... But recently, Legendary lost ALL of their land, Regi nearly took over, then it started to reverse, Legendary came back.

    CONQUESTS took a land last weekend from Nefarious, and this weekend, we took it from them in KnightRlm.

    There are a lot of people on Sanctuary who are more than capable of TW, would probably rock at it, but don't really want to do it, so there are some larger factions that don't have a TW presence or name. I think they may try it once or twice, like Oldies, but... Eh. No success.

    The Map on Sanctuary is ever-changing. It's not stagnant at all. XD I was shocked when Legendary got booted off the map... And shocked that Regicide lost 3 territories yesterday. @___@

    Yes it has. At one point (even if it was just for a few hours) Nefarious held the entire map

    I remember when I first started playing that Nefarious was, at one time, 3 or 4 territories from owning the map, but another faction began to give Nefarious trouble, so they left Legendary alone for a while...I can still remember the red beast and orange? underdog fighting it out...Nef and Leg...

    lost great lake last week to go down to 1 land. But, people in vindi said after the regi tw friday that legendary seemed stronger than regicide b:cute

    Nefarious conquered the map briefly before its collapse. From your forum join date you were here for 2009 so I find it surprising you would say the map was not stagnant. I guess its all relative to one's perception but I found TW action for part of that year pretty boring when Leg and Nef took over the map and were locked in a stalemate for quite a while with no other factions able to break in... fun for them but boring for the rest of us to follow.

    Personally, I would love to see some of the old factions make a come back and get back on the map like WiccanWay, Shockwave, NWO, Outlaw, Dreaming, and others I can't remember at the moment.. too bad some are now disbanded. Oh well, I am just too nostalgic lol

    Archosaur was about 75% dominated (roughly) by Narla before I, under a different char, passed lead due to RL circumstances.

    Shortly thereafter, Narla was tanked. There are loads of threads on Arch forums which explains why.

    I can say that if I hadn't left, the map would be 100% pink to this day. Even after TW changes.

    I can also confirm that on Sanctuary, Nefarious once upon a time held the entire map for half a day, back before I rolled on Arch upon its grand opening. Seems the tide has shifted to Regicide (or the player base, whatever)

    Yeah there is, it's called lack of interest.
    Granted if all merged could probably make it a two colour map but that's not awe inspiring interesting either is it ?
    There just isn't enough people who care that much about TW anymore to make it a multi colour map.

    You also have the section who are interested in TW but to lazy to do anything about it so just join the dominate faction. Why work for ya e-peen when you can get it for free.

    I think there was 10 bids on them this week, 7 of which maybe turn up with less than 30 . So as you can see it's not really effective ganking lol or staggeringly time or cost consuming for them.

    Edit: So atm the whole server is kinda in a state of melancholy waiting on the Faction base Wars and the more interesting mass PvP that they might bring.

    Pretty sure it was internal turmoil and player disinterest in the game that pulled apart Nefarious. Not the fact that they were bid on all the time.

    the story with nef goes that the old leader of nef quit everyone hated the replacement and they imploded, scattering to their biggest rivals and they never came back, a lot wen to vindi and elysion and the others, as for the rest of big facs they are slowly making inrodes who know what will happen when the earthguard show up and (hopefully) put sins in their place

    This came from a ex officer of nef, but doing 20+ TWs came a chore instead of being fun, and it pretty much burning them out. Yes the leadership and the rise of Vindicate made the fall of nef x100 faster but it still was burning the members out doing 20+ TWs weekly

    Actually, I heard that rumor too...there's talk about someone outside the faction feeding TW strategies....That's just what I heard from hanging outside West Gate...you know how they are. (lol)

    I've been in this guild for nearly a year now, and am good(decent) friends with all the officers. We just did a simple split lane push to win, and they somehow got confused or something :x

    So, after Conqueror in Lost City, who was the 2nd and maybe 3rd faction to take all over the map of a server?

    P.S I wonder how has Dreamweave managed to stay multicolored for so long.
