A heavy cashshopper is someone that allmost dailly exceeds the spending limit on both the credit card and pay-pal payment methods evan after they had the gm's raise thier personal spending limit from the 200$ a day to 400$ a day on each method.0

There are some on Archo who have openly admitted to spending 200-400 a day. I worry for their companies (if the own any) and their credit card statements.Tamias-

like themselves?
I agree with Tam....Arch has THE most richest 'business owners' I have ever come across.
If they dump that kind of money from the earnings of their 'business', Im amazed that their 'business' is still afloat.0 -
The one's who have spent over $10k ... yeah sure that could be classed as heavy b:chuckle[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Heavy Cash-shopper?
Anybody who maxs out every single payment method allowed, per day, everyday, for the whole time they play.0 -
u dont know that u can just call them and deposit as much as u want right?0
-
I think they are the people that light to non cash shoppers should thank for keeping this game up and running.
This message is bought to you by a non cash shopper (almost).0 -
Who cares? I mean, honestly, why do you care how much someone else spends on this game or any other form of entertainment?
What to you may seem a fortune, might very possibly be beer money for someone else. On the other hand, even if someone is blowing their life savings and cashing in their retirement accounts to cash shop, how does that affect you?0 -
I think the heaviest cashshoppers are the ones living off cheetos and mountain dew.0

Eh...maybe if their "business" is operating at a loss, or profiting mere thousands of dollars a year. If they have a "bigger business" that operates at a profit of 100k-1m+, I'm sure their "bigger business" has nothing to fear from a thousand or three squandered by its owner.
Also, said owner probably has a higher credit rating than the overwhelming majority of people on this forum, or in game, ijs b:bye0 -

I think an even more cliche one would be a 12 yo with a huge epeen and rich parents0 -
Heavy Cash Shopper is those who spent money in amount that seem a lot for average people or ridiculous for bellow average. But for the cash shopper them self that amount is nothing.
Casual Cash Shopper is those who doesn't have time to do the boring process, just to borrow their character to standard. Usually cash shop just for basic character needs or hot item sale.
Desperate Cash Shopper is those who risk their live saving or ignore it for the sake of character development and in game fame. The amount can be little or many depend on the cash shopper them self, it can be a lot or nothing for other people.
Age didn't mean anything on cash shopper, it's depend on your income, your parents, your money planning, your view of playing games, and your healthy mind.
Which goes back to just ignore how many or how little people spent on something that make them interested or worth it, both on time and money.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Heavy cash shopping is probably a consistent stream of funds. Hard to just put a number on it, but it's my opinion that cash shopping is perfectly a valid thing to do if you play the game a lot and have the money. I've spent a fair amount on the game, but I spend a fair amount doing anything I find fun, whether it be taking my wife out somewhere, going out to the beach or theme park, or Dave & Busters for a night of pool and drinks. My money coincides with an investment of my time. Great thing is, one can spend however much or little they want. If you can afford it, don't see the problem. However, there are those who ruin their finances and relationships over it -- there's one specific person in their early teens on Heaven's Tear who took his hospitalized uncle's credit card and totally cashed in on anni pack gear, which a known family member confessed to me about. That's the truly desperate.0

I could name names of who I suspect to be heavy cash shoppers on DW server. But then again, do I really know that these people are - or is it a mere assumption? Suffice it to say though that if [powerhouse faction] leader is a CEO in real life and they are a powerhouse faction, its not hard to put two and two together. ijs.
still, theres some that have managed to build equally as powerful an end game setup without quite as much cash shopping as a CEO is capable of. they just farm alot, but likely got their farming setup started from an initial smaller investment.0 -
Heavy cash shoppers are the members of Enrage, the get full rank 9 in like 2 days after the rep sale.0

If you watch those rich 16 year olds on mtv, heavy cash shoppers here isn't really a surprise./quit.

Anyone over 300 pounds that charges zen would be a heavy cash shopper?
But how about people over 150 pounds? They would still be heavy, right?0 -

People still watch MTV? Do they even still play music anymore?
Quite interesting. I wasn't aware this is what was considered a heavy cash-shopper. I'm just curious what they spend in the cash shop when their aren't any sales? Ooh wait, I forgot. Corals are in stores indefinitely. I was gone for a year, so packs weren't always in the shop.
I guess they keep the servers flowing with tokens eh?0 -

Thank goodness most people don't think like you or there would be no such thing as shelters or soup kitchens.
It does matter when people are wasting away money on something like this when people out there need help feeding their families and you have idiots spendin 10k on a video game. We're all in this together and I think there is nothing wrong with telling people that if they can afford to waste that kind of money on a video game they might want to spend just a LITTLE bit of their good fortune helping someone else.0 -
The money people spend on this game is going to feed and clothe people. I have to assume that there are people at PWE headquarters that get paid for their work. Maybe they have families, and homes, and eat food. Their salaries have to come from somewhere.
If people didn't cash shop, where would the money for devs and servers and all that stuff come from? Other people cash shop so you don't have to pay. What people do with their money is their own business.
And people might disagree...but I don't think PWI takes all the money people spend on zen and puts it in a giant vault where they can go swimming in it. I'm pretty confident it goes to pay the people that make and run this game, and to maintain the game itself.0 -

.....this is the most hilarious post I have ever seen in my entire life....and there have been doozies.
Anybody with two eyes and proper thinking parts can tell you that the money is HARDLY going to poor little starving Chinese families. (And programmer's families are FAR from hungry, especially at the rate PWE is sucking down cash.)
It's all going to FORSAKEN WORLD. Didn't you get the memo when the Tiger Packs were stuck in Boutique "indefinitely"? Or how about the 15 months of sale spamming? The return of the Duke Shouts? Perfect Horns? Rank Sale for cheap?
Wake up. The money is as likely to be going to hungry families in china as the chances of Ossama Bin Laden turning himself in to the Americans. Maybe a little, a teensy tiny bit of it in the oodles and oodles that they rake in, but I can say it with confidence....it's hardly being spent on anything beneficial to THIS game.
Yes, boo hoo, the poor Cash Shoppers aren't being given credit for keeping this game afloat. There's a difference between keeping a game going, and funding a completely different project, when your money is intended to improve the game you ARE playing.
And before Janus comes in here patrolling, I AM a Cash Shopper. I've spent money on this game, and I'm pissed that they're spending it on FORSAKEN WORLD instead of fixing this game which has GREAT potential. Yeah, QQ, it's their money now, whatever. There's no excuse for it.[SIGPIC]http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/image.php?type=sigpic&userid=39996931002&dateline=1294842593[/SIGPIC]

So, exactly what WAS your point?
"Oh don't be MAD at PWE for milking this game for every last drop of money! They're just trying to feed their poor, middle class families!"
Yeah. I'm not buying that defense. If they REALLY wanted to feed anybody, they'd make the game generally more appealing to people, first by fixing game mechanics flaws, bugs, and so on and so forth. INSTEAD, they take the time and make 'minor localization changes' which pretty much equals "more sales."
No, when you TRY to be a successful company, you don't make very shortsighted choices like: "Let's put the best gear in the game for the price of a used car right before a major expansion!"
or
"Let's put the one thing that keeps gold prices at an extremely high level in the cash shop for good! THAT should help the prices come back down to earth!"
So no, your argument still stands at Zero...there's nothing cute, warm, cuddly, fuzzy, or family-oriented about PWE. People with families yes, but if the company doesn't even care about it's paying players, imagine how much less they care about the poor little families of their employees.
No. Try again.[SIGPIC]http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/image.php?type=sigpic&userid=39996931002&dateline=1294842593[/SIGPIC]
