what to do in close range??

I found out the normal or skill dmg will be reduce by half when the mob come close to archer . Wht do you guys do about it? run far away hit it again? :eek:

You can hotkey your weapons. i.e. F1 switches to bow, F2 switches to melee. I usually hit from far then switch off to my melee when a mob gets too close. also saves on arrows/bullets.0

the full archer guide listed Thunder Bolt can do full damage in close range... thats cool0

In most cases you can kite the mob, might take longer to defeat since it will be chasing you but it works.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

You should always hit and run when your an Archer BUT! In my case.. I don't usually hit and run mobs when their almost dying, I go tank mode and unleash those melee skillz XP:D.. LOL~
Archers have two skills that can DMG mobs that are close to you, One is the lightning Skill~ and the other one is the winged thingy skill (I forgot their names sorry)0 -

there aren't dual slots for weapons. but you can hotkey weapons/equips on F1~F8 as well as 1~8 just like any skill or potion.0

Frost Arrow -> Lightining Strike -> Vicious Arrow ->Knockback Arrow and when I have a spark -> Aim Low.
Works like a charm and mobs barely reach me before they die. Frost Arrow makes them move towards me slower, LS causes massive dmg, Vicious poisons them, knockback pushes them away all over again and Aim Low stuns them.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

For me ususally do this:
Take Aim>Frost Arrow>> Vicious Arrow>> Searing arrow>> Knockback Arrow>> Quickshot>> Regular Attack>> (if not dead and coming so close)>> winged shell> winged pledge> Thunder Shock>Lightning strike>knockback arrow> aim low> frost arrow> vicious arrow
Yes its long and all its a good combo tho but i usually do the second half for close ranged in that order most of the time due to different circumstances. but winged pledge and lightning skills are a must for closed ranged fighting along for winged shell which gives you a little breathing space for your potions to kick in.
when it comes for mobs id just fly away because most of the time i cant take 2 at a time. but at 1v1 i dont run at all since i use my charms.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

i just use Frost-->normal-->normal-->knockback-->normal-->normal. if it still not dead Winged Pledge, if still not dead and my HP is running low, Winged Shell then mana 1 more winged pledge, that will kill the mob. but if still not dead, use HP pot, kite knock back then lightning strike, MOB will be R.I.P for sure0
