This should probably be in the cleric section but that place is dead...So, Demon wield thunder useful or useless? Why or Why not? If you got hit by it do you think you will die? and last but not least, do you think sins can eat my sparkly pink cough...thunder?b:chuckle

(Have it waiting in the bank nowb:cute)

Sleep sin, Hit with Wield, follow with Whirlwind. The Whirlwind will probably hit as hard as the wield just did. And the whirlind will cast as they inevitably stealth. Few will telestun you off the mark.

    Its great. Use it.

All sins telestun on DW, and even with a 30% increase to metel damage for the next skill, i always hope wield thunder would still be ahead of that damage by a good 5-10k hehe

Which is why when the next intelligent sin uses powerdash - RDS - Subsea - IH - Head Hunt on you, youl drop to the floor not understanding anything.

Apparently all the sins you meet are noobs. Attacking the same is why people learn to defend :/

I personally love Demon Weild for the 30% metal Debuff. It makes your other skills quit powerful. That and Demon Weild Thunder is a huge jump in Damage from Level 10, and Weild Thunder is already one of our most powerful attacks. Sooo put and two and two together. IMHO, I LOVE my Demon WT as much as I love my Demon IH.

    Sometimes, yes.

That skill-chain is technically PvE tho... Almost everytime I use it in PVP, they die on RDS or AD on/after RDS so I dont finish the chain.

Ive probably finished the full thing and killed with the HeadHunt like 5 times lol. b:surrender

    More Realistic one :

Telestun - Deep Sting - HeadHunt - dead things or Tackling -RDS - PD - Auto/skill

---Ive recently noticed that HeadHunting directly after Telestun is a bad thing :O The stun doesnt overwrite so you waste the whole point of HH. The cast time and duration of sleep covers the loss of stun - restun gap. :D (There will be a million other sins that found this already id guess, but I still see sins HeadHunting after telestun :/

That's a good combo, I'd probably string something between telestun and sleep though. Something fast, so that headhunt has a shot at bypassing charm on the hard(er) to kill targets.

I've heard talk that levelling Telestun increases the duration despite what the description says, up to like 5 seconds. If that's true, telestun -> rib strike/tackling slash -> sleep -> headhunt would probably take care of everything not in heavy armor. As for HA, I'm not really sure how you'd approach taking them out (skills-wise, not APS obviously) other than maybe attk level overload.

Yeah, you string Tackling Slash or whatever is spare in the gap if you want, Tackling would be most useful unless your facing a sin id guess.

Nope, at least not as far as I know. The number is blue (As if it increases) because the Demon Version is 5 seconds long. Aside that, there is no extention in duration I know of / have noticed.

HA? I rarely attempt to kill HA types, im genuinely not built for it. However if Im going to, I typically take off Chill, Triple Spark a distance away - Inner Harmony - Maze Steps -TeleJUMP - Tackling - Subsea - autorape with Relentless Courage. (2.22 lol)

Otherwise I just run away screaming like a small girl.

On-topic, People have pointed out the healthy power bonus that you also gain with LV 11, thats a reason alone.

I have to chuckle at how completely you guys hijacked the thread lol. Originally it started out as a discussion of the CLERIC skill 'wield thunder' remember? Hehe...

Definitely want to get that skill for my cleric... refuse to spend 20mil though so I'll have to find a desperate buyer or get lucky ;D

Get it. As a previous poster said, the increased damage from 10>11 is worth it alone. But I absolutely looooove the debuff on it. Chaining that with Whirlwind or Tempest is amazing. Sleep > debuff > Demon Wield > Demon Whirlwind is an amazing standard nuke. Of course, everyone expects that combo so you gotta react to it, but that doesnt change the fact that it is good damage. I've 2 shotted a 18k hp barb with that (and no crits), whereas if it didnt have lvl11 Wield, woulda taken a few more shots.

Yea thats too expensive, i just took my butt into cube and sat around in catshop mode buying 30 pages of fates for 225-370k each, in 1 and a half days i managed to get wield thunder and stream of rejuvenation. Once i've leveled my cleric to 99 or at the least 98 i will go back in there to collect my tempest and sleep.

Is the damage really so different? i cant wait to see. and.........128k crits in Fc, new record! Gosh i want my demon tempest even more now...

The threat of a now-amped follow up is the true evil of the skill. Especially if you have Demon Whirlwind, which is amazingly powerful. (Almost as strong as Lv10 Wield). The simple power boost is just nice.

Also, the debuff is 10 seconds, cast and cooldown total around 8.5 or 9seconds, dependant on -channel. So you can cast wield again (omg power on a debuffed target???) and both refresh the buff AND deal an obnoxious amount of damage.

Dont forget that it can also stack with Elemental Seal too. If you can drop the seal - Wield - Tempest on a barb in TW (Assuming you are on a defence squad and arnt having to heal at the moment) its going to take an epic amount of damage :P

---Extra thing you might not know, single target buffs at Lv11 last one hour. Saves having to squad people to give them hour buffs, if you get the set (Or at least Magic Shell and Vanguard Spirit).
