No need to feed pets - side effect of christmas blessing?

I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this side effect? It seems that as soon as i got the christmas blessing, i no longer had to feed my battle pets (unless they died and i needed loyalty, but not typical 5 min hunger). Is this a bug that will be "fixed"? Or is it intended since the normal tome slot is often used by veno's for the no hunger tome, and thereby Veno's would otherwise be penalized for this blessing/tome? Also, i do not have a riding pet but someone else said they still needed to feed their riding pet (an archer) does anyone know about the truth of this? Just curious.

    That reply wasn't aimed at that. The GM stated that the item was designed to go into the tome slot of your equipment, nothing else. The side-effect of not having to feed pets is, as of yet, unconfirmed to be intended by a GM.

    Any item (tomer scroll) put into that slot will have an effect of pet scroll, your mount, pet will not gets hungry but will lost loyalty as usual if it die. Every Veno should get one.

    Is that how it functions in other versions of PW? Instead of the item itself keeping the pet fed, just having an item in the slot gives the effect? A confirmation from a PW-MY player would be great.

    I play PW-MY and just tried it out. Apparently pets really don't get hungry. But that's not surprising, since MY and INT get their patches from the same place, we'd get the same bugs =o. Good find though.

    would be nice if any gm or admin confirmed if its intentional or if its considered as bug and gonna be fixed

    Chances are, its a bug if the pet doesn't get hungry from any tome.

    I am a 94 Psy and my level 11 mount has maxed his fed loyalty and never declines and now I know why. I do wear a Christmas tome. Whoever said they need to feed their riding pet while wearing this I believe was mistaken.

    one does wonder at the inability to check post date before adding to such old threads. especially when the comments added do nothing to actually move the thread forward but simply are an outpouring of thought to keyboard with no brain filtering in between. how do they always manage to find the oldest thread too? maybe frankie should instigate a monthly prize for the oddest/oldest necro
