Vitality points for Snake

Im a level 96 cleric and trying to do Snake with squad. In last ten seconds of fight Snake takes down my bb and one shots most of squad. Barb lived to get credit for kill. I'm almost to level 97 and want to know if i place all 5 points in vitality how much will it raise my hit points. Have 4486 un buffed. and 6056 with all buffs. can someone help me.

Personally that HP sounds pretty good. At least 4.5k unbuffed, 6k buffed is the minimum for endgame (imo anyway). As stated earlier, 1 point of vit equates to 10 points in HP.

based on the "the last 10sec" i would say warsong but why would a <100 be in warsong?
same for SoT.
there is a reason however for a 9x to want to kill illusion nemen; oht culti

OP, 5vit = 50hp + 10pdef. if u fail at the last 10sec try to use some apo. dew of star/god/sacred protection should do the trick. or chain AD. defense charms should work too.
as a cleric, guardian light, plume shell or wings of protection will help.0 -

OHT culti requires you to kill the Snake boss in fb99 Heaven too...way before Illusion as well. Also, Illusion doesn't AOE unless you didn't kill enough mobs.

Sounds like you didn't recover any of your mp.
I have never seen a bb go down on snakefist unless the cleric gets one shotted when the squad took too long to kill it./quit.

hm, right. i forgot about the sot stuff. so considering the BB went down i change my bet to fb99 (can i do that? xd)
the other scenario is warsong, barb has bh, cleric helps0 -

Though I agree "the last 10sec" part sounds like warsong I don't know why they'd be doing it. But just to throw out there, in Warson they'd be in BB, and unable to use Apo.0 -

Squad is seriously noob if they get one shotted by him, his hard yeah, what i do is i plume shell as much as possible, ih the tank squad heal when aoe hits, takes alot of mana but worksb:cutelalalala Pokemon

if this snake guy in warsong is metal magic w/ frenzy, and you cant use apo, has any1 tried to do that genie skill that makes you immune to metal damage? i mean, i guess its for clerics only cuz close range dmg = physical, but long range magic damage should do be deflected w/ that genie skill right?b:shockedPlease state the nature of your medical emergency.0 -
Qlngfu is guessing OP is talking about snakfister in warsong. why would she do it pre lvl100? well maybe someone asked her for help, i myself have done quite a few warsong BHs pre 100 out of boredom..
the thing with this guy is, that he got an aoe wich dmg increases over time. so he is kinda a ***** to kill with a low DD squad. there is however a quest in there you can take for an item wich gives another 50% pdef and mag attack for you to use in bb. you will have to be in the squadfrom the very start to get it though. you can also chose to use those tidal warfers if you dont have the pills.
first time i did him was at lvl95 with 5.5k hp and pill-less. i got called in for duty because the previous cleric dced for ages and didnt cmoe back u_u
just put up BB and let DDs do their job0 -

I have myself a 101 cleric and, being used to snakefist BHs, I can tell you that there's no way he can interrupt your BB with a skill and he doesn't have a mana drain skill either. To me it only looks like you forgot to eat some mana food...
The fact that the whole squad died very fast doesn't seem very surprising... especially if they took quite long to kill it since the more the time goes by, the stronger he gets, that's why it's recommended to kill it very fast.
And as it has been mentionned, as 5 vit gives 50 hp to clerics, adding them won't make you survive this boss more easily o.o[SIGPIC]http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/image.php?type=sigpic&userid=8149449004&dateline=1294904331[/SIGPIC]

Actually you can use APO in BB, you just have to use them BEFORE you activate the BB. When I'm in an instance and I know we're nearing the boss I use my powder that increases mana regen then right before BB, I will use the orb that increases a massive amount of mana over time. Then I throw on BB, and it literally doubles the amount of time i can hold onto it. I haven't used up my hp charm (Tidal protection) yet, so charm isn't an option. This helps, a lot.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

use apo = pop an apo, not have the effect an apo gives.
75+ clerics can hold BB up for ever, mana isnt an issue.
(and hp charm has nothing to do with BB)0 -

Eh, I disagree. I know people who don't know that you can use apo effects during BB. And I know HP charms have nothing to do with BB, but Mana charms do. Since I have an HP charm equipped, I cannot equip a mana charm to keep BB up. Hence why I said charms for BB aren't an option. As OP obviously having trouble keeping it up, I was suggesting a way to make up for the gap in mana that pots can leave behind. And considering the massive amounts of mana BB consumes, I don't think you realize that mana is always an issue. Luckily, there is better mana food available at 75+ but that doesn't mean it isn't something you don't have to pay attention to just because you're lvl 75+ you can't walk off and do what you want and leave your cleric in BB just because your mana at that lvl is better and so are the pots. And don't say Macros cuz those don't always run smoothly. Mana is still an issue, as what happened to OP demonstrates. You gotta keep a watch on your mana and make sure you have enough mana food. Mana food is better at that lvl so it's less of an issue, but it's still an issue. And not paying attention can result in things like what happened to the OP. Cheaper than what other classes may have to watch out for, but still.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

well, ok:
75+ clerics that dont go afk for a drink can hold up BB forever mana-wise (a bit harder if the boss has a mana drain).
