I cannot get the Lvl 1 Blacksmith Skill anymore

I'm a level 80 Veno on Dreamweaver, and i have Craft, Apothecary and Tailor skills but can no longer seem to get the Blacksmith skill.

When i first started, i didnt want to do the Blacksmith skill, however ive gotten used to it, and wanted to do it on my Veno, however upon trying to manufacture a lvl 2 magic sword, it wouldnt let me due to not having lvl 1 blacksmith. I checked the Lost Elder, and the Blacksmith for the quest.. but sadly no luck.

Have I lost this skill forever? Or is there a way to get it back

(oh and i checked for the book at the Book merchant)

    same problem here. my basic craftsman quest was gone, and it is not available from the elder either

    can you buy it from the bookmerchant?

    pwdatabase does not show an upper level limit for any of the crafting quests. Are you sure you didn't do the quest, and sold or banked the skill book? If you've sold the book, you can buy another at the bookmerchant in any starter city; if for some reason you haven't done the quest, and can't get it again, find someone with at least level 1 blacksmith that's willing to buy the book for you, and buy it from them.

    there are 2 smiths in city of lost, try the other one, this could be the solution both of your problems, as i have quests over smith and craftsman everytime i run past certain ones

    start a new char and get it lvled till you get your books and send them or put them in account stash

    When you go to the blacksmith and click on manufacture is the skill bar at the top right fully green? if it is and you still cant get lvl1 go to your races elder and click on quest related. do you have a blacksmith mission? if you do get it and pick up the mats needed. but if you done that already then there shouldn't be a problem. b:surrender
