FC Bows

i would sell it, and save up for heaven shatterer. but hey, if you really want a frost weapon, get broadlands. it is astopping point though, doesnt really get any better, nor can you upgrade it, you're kinda stuck with it unless you get TT99 or lunar.

Boogie right.... Vastland>Dragon bow....so what dragon bow got +1% and more dex
You would have to +5 a Dragon Bow to get its damage up to Vastland+3

But thats not what your asking I would sell it and save up for Heaven Shattered seem like they are getting cheaper. FC gold bow is useless imho the Xbow is good but if your looking for aps I wouldn't use it.

+10 anything hurts to the average player. doesn't mean he's good. and after reading Russie's post, LOL win.

But yes, my suggestion is to sell the Frostcovered Sign, buy Vast Land or farm/buy TT90 Bow/Xbow, that should hold you until you get either Heaven Shatterer or TT99 Bow/Xbow.

First of all, I got the FC crossbow at lvl85. I'm now using a +10 Rank 8 that I got before the sale...b:surrender
As far as the kiting goes. Yeah, I duel without kiting because I try to sharpen my in-close fighting for TW because you can't always kite away when you have four or five people on you. And there is absolutely nothing to lose by trying things out in a duel. What I have learned in duels has kept me alive several times in TW.
I currently have atk lvl40 with the Jones Blessing equipped, plus the 15% extra dmg from Sage Bow Mastery, for a total of 55% to ranged dmg.
And because I don't use fists or a heavy helm like all the other wannabe BMs, I have a high amount of dex, giving me high evasion and phys atk.
Here is a SS of my build. The phys atk is unbuffed in the left pic. It is sparked with no buff in the right one.



And speaking of fail. I got some nice screenies of Russiee on Martin's account bragging about stealing his stuff. Nice to see your true colors finally showed through.
I currently have 478 PvP kills (with Boogie and Russiee on that list also) and never kill farm. I have only been in PK mode three times since I started playing the game. So almost all of them are from the 100+ TWs I have attended with Haven, NPC, and Vicious.
The bottom line is this. You can roll Sage or Demon. You can have whatever equipment. And you can still be fail.
Anyone that has squadded with me or TW'd with me knows I can play my class and build. If you haven't done either, you have no solid ground to base your opinion on. So do me a favor and find someone else to troll instead of jumping on the bandwagon with an archer who was wearing a lvl40 Rank chest at lvl99 because it made him more "aps".

Now, as far as weapons go (since I don't want to be off subject, even though this thread is obviously necro), the HS is a much better bow than the Broadland. The debuff is a nice attribute when it works. I have seen four Demon archers hitting the same barb with HS's in an NPC vs QQme TW and not one of them landed a debuff.
Another reason I would pick the HS over the FC weapon is because you can Nirvana it. The Broadland is pretty much dead end.

I agree with you that about learning -- you have to try and fail when you are learning things.

That said, one of sage archers advantages is our range, demon has some significant advantages for close in fighting.

That said, the rank bows do not have +range, which makes outranging someone a lot harder when you use one (their added damage and reduced interval are really nice, but if I had a choice I think I would have gotten a crossbow with added range instead of reduced interval, because that works better with how I like to play sage -- and, also, some other classes have 35m range -- actually, technically speaking, some wizards can hit a target 47m distant).

Personally, I would get a gornex vanity.

Also: you can get the bow without the sign. If you really wanted the ranged weapon, and you understood how to buy and sell stuff for good prices, you could probably sell the fists and buy the 1000 pasts for the bow and make a profit without too much time invested.
