I see so many posts with the term sparks in it. What are sparks? Is it an item you have that enables you to cast certain skills? I hope I'm not bothering you by asking. I just would like to know about this. How do you build sparks?
I have seen in one of my posts someone said Sparks + normal attack. What is that? I'm confuzzled. b:surrender

Yes. Some skills can only be casted with a certain amount of sparks. A spark is beside your chi bar, when your chi bar fills to 100, a spark will light with some kind of an effect like a fire. You start off with one spark, then two, and lastly three when you get your demon/sage spark by level 89. Also there is a spark that you find in your skill list that you could learn when you hit certain levels. That spark boosts your damage when you use your skills to attack. I think the first one was at level 29 or 19, not sure though. Second one is at 59 and the last one is at 89. Hope that helped![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Spark is the so called 'Spark Burst' skill. You get your first spark at level 29. To cast a spark you must have 99 chi. The chi bar is the yellow bar located right under your hp/mana/xp bars.
Spark Burst :
Level 29
Costs 1 Spark.
Gain 150% extra weapon damage for 10 seconds.
Become invincible for 1 second.
Spark Burst+:
Level 59
Consume two sparks to recover 10% of your maximum HP,
gain 300% extra weapon damage for 12 seconds,
and become invincible for 2 seconds.

You can see a demon spark which you will obtain if your archer goes demon. The normal sparks are all the same except that they are white instead of red.0 -
The term "spark" has 3 usages:
1) Noun - One "spark" refers to 100 chi. For example, Stormrage Eagleon requires two Sparks, which means it requires 200 chi. Here is another example: http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/11301
2) Noun - "Spark" refers to one of three skills: Spark Eruption, Advanced Spark Eruption, and the Celestial / Demonic Eruption. These skills require 100 chi, 200 chi, and 300 chi, respectively. They are also called Single-Spark, Double-Spark, and Triple-Spark, respectively.
3) Verb - To "Spark" means to use one of your Spark skills, mentioned in (2).0 -

i might be wrong, but i believe you need 100 chi to cast a spark
at lv 9 or 19 (not sure) you will get 99 chi, at lv 29 you get 100 extra chi, at lv 59 you get another 100, and at lv 89 you get your last 100 chi
you get the ability of having chi after you do your cultivation quests0 -
For reference, Demonic Eruption gives 500% Weapon Damage and a 25% increase to attack speed for 15 seconds, and invincibility for 3(?) seconds after discharge.
Celestial Eruption is the same but instead of a 25% increase to attack speed, it gives a 25% reduction to damage taken.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
"I always thought I'd be the only one doing crazy things for people who would never care enough to do it back or to act like idiots or be entirely vulnerable, and making someone fall in love with you is easy, and flying 3000 miles on four days notice because you can't just sit there and do nothing and breathe into telephones is not everyone's idea of love, but it is the way I can recognize it because that is what I do."

The damage bonus depends on your class. Of course this is the archer forums, but some people here play other classes also.
Also, those particular spark eruptions heal you a bit and remove negative status effects.0 -
Thanks so much for all the information. It has really helped. I'm 4 levels away from my first spark. Now I see what you mean by spark + Normal. That will save alot of mana. But winged shell really helps that mana regen. I am so glad I am an archer. I was told that we are actually fairly good a TW. That's Territory Wars right? Again thanks. b:laughb:victory0
