Hiya I'm an Aassassin, (as you can tell)b:chuckle and I am looking for the benifits of both Sage/Demon sin skills. I'm planning ahead and I plan to be a sage but I don't know all the skill adavantages and disadvantages same for demon so could someone please post the benifits for the skills?

    In general:

    demon = dps
    sage = dph

    demon = chaining a couple stuns together and dpsing to death
    sage = using 1 or 2 skills to do massive damage, possibly one-shotting people

    As a matter of principle, demons will have higher dps (cannot be 5aps with daggers as sage) so many go demon for higher damage in pve. However, sage has good things going for it too; for instance, bloodpaint heals for 3%, instead of 2%, if you are a sage. As far as pking, both will be successful; a demon can generally kill any other class quite well, and a sage will kill arcanes/light armors *really well* but may have trouble with barbs.

    Personally, I went demon for the spark, the longer stun times, and the increased slowdown of attack speed on rib strike. Most skills are pretty balanced; for instance, demon subsea lasts for 15s instead of 8; whereas sage amps by 50% instead of 30%. This is another example of the fundamental difference between the two cultivations; with sage you will get less time for hits, but those hits will be bigger hits. With demon, you have more time for hits, and thus smaller dph but in the long run, better dps.
