Low Damage for Claw Barb?

I've restated to wear claws since thats what it takes now adays to farm nirvana. I am now 5APS with a +10 lunar claw. Whenever im in squad with other 5APS BM's i tend to steal agrro alot. Even if they have equeal refines. Yet im still cursed with peopel telling me that i have "low damage". I mean seriously are BM's so proud of their mastery that they refuse to see how we have a buff that increases our damage ie posion fang, not only that high str points affect how much damage you deal with a claw as well. I have 328 str and a 20% crit rate, and people wonder why i steal agrrro from other 5APS BM's. It's time for people to realize that BM's aren't the only ones that can deal good damage once they turn 5APS b:angry

    Don't squad with those idiots that talk **** about you?

    If you do some search on the forums (XD cuase I'm too lazy) the smart math wizes already calculated & compared the damage of dif classes with fists.

    unless the bm is good at CCing skills every other class that uses claws can out DD them

    A lot of BM's are sage and don't know how to cancel bash and don't have a genie with frenzy or chi siphon/cloud. Of course your str buff + fang evens the playing field.

    And note that you give the BMs your buff too.
    AP classes are a real butt pounding...

    in this case arch its more the +10 claws than anything else lol

    happened in nirvana that i took aggro over same aps bm with same refined weapon (5aps claws+5)

    barbarians get more chi-per-hit, causing them to use 3fury slightly faster. unnoticable at first, but over time it'll eventually pull aggro.

    archers, too, get more chi, but they get the lowest patk from str. iirc, barbs also get a slightly higher amount of patk per str point(but it's like 1 point?). if you're pure str you easily compensate for the lack of a passive, imo

    PWI changed the BM chi gain to 5 per hit after TB expansion if I'm correct.

    I see 3 options:

    1st: Ingore all the folks that say you suck, you are not supposed to walk around with claws/fists anyway, so it is normal that you do not deal same or more amount of damage as for example a BM.

    2nd: Reroll a 5.0 BM or a 5.0 Sin.

    3th: Get your recasted Nirvana axes with +20 atk lvl and God of War proc. Congratulations! You are a real Barbarian, but useless in the game. (Try getting a Zerk-Crit Armageddon on an AA user xD)

    I'd rather get full Rank 9 set for PKing. That would be epic b:chuckle

    You should know that you can't get +20 atk level and GoF on a Nirvana weapon at the same time. :P

    Just requires some major re-rolling of the damn wep.

    Especially considering i've seen GSR_X (I believe is the guys name) with GoF and +20 attk on his nirvana fist :P

    I do have a passive thougth its called demon poison fang 50% more weapon attack in wood damage b:dirty

    guess i never noticed, i'm half afk whenever i farm anymore. guess other classes with need their buffs and full str to compare now. b:shutup

    It was probably done to let BMs almost perma-spark at 4 aps.

    so am i the only one who played bm before the change in our chi generation?

    you got chi off normals in a 4-4-4-8 pattern with 8 as your kick animation...4 aps has always been permaspark
