Earthquake Drum Fragments

I was wondering about the Earthquake Drum Fragments that drop from the Drum boss in TT 70. A friend has recieved 2 as loot but the guy at the beginning of TT 70 will not accept them from him. It says that it is required to start a quest but the dialog the Cat guy at the beginning of TT 70 does not change if you have one in your inventory. It still says requires Earthquake Drum Fragment.

Can anyone help please and let me know how to use this item.

    The said Earthquake Drum is a quest item (goes on quest inventory), but the rate of dropping is so low that he never drops. There will be a similar quest again on 1-3, but this time to kill Dimentora (big armor, called Shooting Aur for some reason on 1-3), and that one works, he drops a Devined Golden Armor Fragment and npc accepts it.

    So im taking the quest on 1-2 is broken as the boss wont drop the required item at a normal rate for quest monsters (1.6% is ridiculously low).

    Check the last item on his table.

    Now check the quest for 1-3:

    100% drop rate.

    We have two of the fragments but can not figure out how to get the quest. And the fragments do not go into your quest inventory they are in your main inventory and are tradeable. The graphic is that of soft fur.

    The item you have is a TT mat, its used to make gear/weapons, not related to the quest.
    (Just check the green item on first link)

    I mean, you need to make this quest with fragment:http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/quest/9233
    The quest description says, you need two verdant jade and two Locust Wing Muslin, w/o these items, the quest npc remains grey, and you cant get the revard (50K xp).
    (Just guessing, i get my fragment lately)

    I had all of that in my bags and that is the piece i have it is not what is used as a TT mat it says for a quest item.

    Please someone If you have figured this out Please post

    Hey guys, i figured out something totally different about the quest. As it seems to me you need the following items:

    - Earthquake Drum Fragments Amount:1
    - Verdant Jade Amount:1
    - Locust Wing Muslin Amount:2

    The last item comes from Forest Chest and Archdevil's Chest. The whereabouts of these chest i don't know, but if you have these 4 items, the quest should succeed. Btw you can make the last item too with 2 Compound Thread, 2 Compound Oil and 2 Anthracite @ any Tailor. I'm doing this quest now, if any specific information i just shared changes, I will let you know it in a new reply!

    Doesnt work with the 2 locust and the green jade.

    did try ;)
    I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

    Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

    Tried this yesterday and the NPC says I need earthquake drum fragments in my inventory. Weird, because I had them plus the jade and 2 muslin.

    Yeah this quest doesnt seem to work. All items in inventory and quest still stays gray, you can talk to the npc and the quest option is there,but choosing it does nothing.

    After choosing the quest option Percussion Master,The NPC just says you need to have drum fragments and only option after this is confirm.

    Looks to be broken.

    i'm going to hazard a guess this quest is broken because it is looking for the drum fragments in your quest inventory, and since this item goes to your normal inventory, it can't locate it
