I heard about the HA build for Veno's so I'm wondering how they are with leveling and such. If I was told correctly, HA is a tricky melee build where it uses mainly fox form and a pet?

    You'd be giving up some of your solo ability, AoE power, some flexibility in equips, and it would cost more to pull off and maintain. That's not to say the build is fail because it does have some attractions. I've heard it said that an HA veno is needed for the final boss in 3-3 (can't confirm this but could see it being possible). They get more HP for refines, and they benefit more from the awesome pdef debuffing we can do.

    Youre not necessarily giving up alot of your solo abilities. A HA Veno are in fact able to solo quite a bit, however its also more costly. After talking with a "herc Veno" at my own level, I found out shes not really able to solo other bosses in TT than I can. Big diference is that I can take down the remaining bosses with a cleric, while she needs someone to do that for her. I also kill the bosses faster than her.

    Its not all good tho, you get repairbills from another dimension(makes you able to sympathize with barbs), and to solo alot of bosses means youll be buying a large amount of crab meat. Good gear also costs alot, and youll need restats from gear changes if you change from say, str to dex enhancing gear. As you might get low on str and a bit high on the dex instead.

    HA can also be used with magic, where it got about amge sthnormal LA build. To do high damage in either form youll have to do alot of refining. But it pays back. Pet you choose to use is up to you, but you wont really need a tanking pet all the time. I myself just use pets I think look funny/cute/kick ***.

    Silly question, but are there ways to make money and keep up with the bills/other money consumers?

    I guess there are downsides to a build that sounds interesting.

    Repair bills arent that high really Ive been a HA veno from LvL1 * My repairs are around 11k or under most times the highst has been 23k which isnt really that bad when i use my pet to take on one set of mobs and i take on others when barbs can get over 100k +

    That will ofc depend on your playstyle. If youre like me, you enjoy the tanking role. Tanking an FC can easily get you a 50k bill or more. TT 2-3 can also be a pain depending on how fast you get to do it. Grinding on mobs wont be a big issue, and yeah, youll stay in the 20k range there. But Iive myself maxed out a repairbill at 200k.

    Wwith that said, its not that hard to keep up with it. If you use your pet to tank mobs when grinding, youll get those coins back in no time. And youll earn em if you decide to join in the fun too. If you dont tank at all its still a fun build. And the repairbills will shrink with it.
