Confusing Wedding Stuff

This damn wedding thing is really confusing -_- ... my friend and her hubby bought the packs, visited the matchmaker, they were teled to the chapel, said yes, they have their spouse's name above their heads, yet they were programed for another wedding bit, in the chapel, with invites and stuff.
Problem is they live in Europe and the wedding is at 5am for one, 4 am for the other b:sad , so they were wondering, is it really necessary ? What happens if one cannot be present ?
Since they have the name thing, I thought that they already got married, and the chapel thing is a bonus, if they will want to pay for the Ex boss and other stuff like that, things they cannot afford anyhow and that they didn't really want.
I understand they didn't make a marriage quest, that was present before, does it mean they aren't really married? Will they still be 'married' and get the daily marriage quest afterwards?
Anxiously awaiting your input, guys, thanks a bunch !

No, the chapel stuff is definitely NOT necessary. It's just a somewhat fun, expensive after-wedding party, pretty much. They will still have their names above each other, and their daily Marriage Quests.
Just make sure they know - they get the daily MQ from the little Servant guy next to the Matchmaker, not the Matchmaker himself. They have to be in squad, alone - doesn't matter who's lead for the MQs.Katzyn, level 101 Demon Veno

When you go in the Chapel with your wedding party at the appointed time/day be careful about how you do the Heart to Heart quest, the quest that gives the rewards. Take your time and be careful to do each part of the quest correctly and don't leave the podium area where the Father is or the quest could fail like ours did. The problem is, your party must harvest enough bouquets and kill the mobs and the jealous boyfriend, *after* a specific part of the Heart to Heart quest chain is initiated, otherwise the quest will not credit you with points and therefore not give you the reward. For the quest to work, your party must accumulate at least 30,000 contribution points from killing the boss, killing the mobs and harvesting the bouquet *after* you have started the Heart to Heart quest. If they start killing too early, the quest will not credit you and you will not get the rewards for yourself or your party. Therefore, stay at the podium and pay careful attention to the quest chain, especially the part about digging the rings and exchanging them. Whatever you do, DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF LEAVING THE PODIUM ANDTRYING TO HARVEST BOUQUETS OR HELPING TO KILL THE BOSS OR THE MOBS.
I did this and my quest failed (after spending 7.88 mil on the wedding) and so far PWI have not helped me recover from this, which is disappointing because I love the game and have spent a lot of real money on it.0 -
Me think marriage is for rich couples that have money to blow, and chapel wedding party is for desperate poor couples who is looking to divorce b:cute
I went through my whole marriage/divorce without a single wedding party (wait is that why she wanted the divorce?) b:sad
You're not truly a couple until you duel in public though, domestic violence has always been a clear way to pick out the married peoples b:victory0
