Shadow Escape got nerfed after tuesday's maintaince

Anyone else notice that you can get knocked out of stealth immediately after you shadow escape now? It used to be that if someone is channeling an attack and you shadow escape, even though the attack hit you, you are still immune to be knocked out for a couple of seconds. Now if a wizard is channeling an attack before you go in stealth and lands after you go in stealth, you will get knocked out and the skill is used up. This happened to be 4-5 times already in both PK and on magic mobs. What the hell is the point of shadow escape if it won't even work against classes that channel skills?

    Haven't really noticed it. And why da fak are you 102 already. R9 yet? I'm still surprised that you rerolled a Sin again, instead of a class that's more... well rounded.

    yes.

    and if you want to test it. get any magic class to cast skills at u while you stealth, you'll see that the stealth is wasted pretty often. Now if you have like 3-4 ppl ganking you it's almost guarenteed to be knocked out of stealth the instant you use it.

    Hmm, I remember reading in the archer forums on how to defend against a sin. One of the tips was to use take aim (a skill with a loooong channel) the moment you see a sin channel shadow escape and you'll knock them out of stealth after they've entered it.

    So maybe this isn't so new?

    No, I think what you read was about the skill still hitting the Sin in stealth and hard hitting ones can kill the Sin after he stealthed. I've gotten hit or had Deaden and gotten "killed" in stealth but wasn't knocked out. I'll have to see when I'm done running Nirvana like a mad man.

    If this nerf has been added, no point for new classes anymore; Sins will officially suck in every aspect of this game.

    This is not new, whenever i'm fighting a sin on my veno i use "Tame pet" on him/her as soon as he/she channels shadow escape.

    This has always pulled the sin out of stealth as far as i know.

    This has always pulled the sin out of stealth as far as i know.

    I've actually encountered this, but as far as I remember, attacks that started before you stealth didn't knock you out of stealth.

    PS: does it also work with DoT dmg? Than I can just cast a pitfal at the start and they can't escape for 15 secs(and another one after that, ect). Unles they have sage shadow escape XD

    I'd also add that this has never happened to me on magic mobs in PVE. I always take the damage from their casts, but it has never forced me out of stealth.
