Okay... first of all, Im not playing a sin but I need some info here for... christmas reasons b:avoid

I saw that Sage Rib Strike decreases targets hp by 10% for 10 seconds.
Is that actually useful in PvE? Seems a bit short to me tbh. (But then I got no clue lol)
And if, does it work like archers STA?

    Nah the bonus of it from Sage is terrible, even in pve the mob usually dies within them 10 seconds anyway and I can cut its health down by 10% in 2-3 hits, which take the same amount of time to cast the skill anyway.

    I believe the only practical application would be for TT w/o an archer or bm using deicide claws. Could have some small uses in pvp I guess but you'd need to hit like...a +10-12 barb with 30k+ hp to see any real effectivness

    Well from what I was thinking....
    It would suck in FCC. And you might overbuff an incoming STA too.

    But for TT and bosses, yeah would be nice.
    Not sure if its worth investing 9mil for... Its got nice damage tho..

    hp lost from max hp debuff wont be recovered after the debnuff wears off or gets overwritten by a weaker another one...b:cute

    This.. cos u cant overwrite an alredy lost hp due to sta or deicide...

    The dmg from upgradin rib strike to sage is nice and i see it being useful in pk too... lets say ur goin against bm or barb... not only do they lose their 10% hp they also hit u slower... and normally bms and barbs have the most hp anyway...

    9mil seems reasonable for increased damage and the off chance that there is no archer\ sage veno or deicides user in squad.

    question is, does the 10% max hp debuff work like archers STA where itll cut of 10% of targets hp first then deal the dmg? any sage sins can confirm?

    Unless monster bloodsucks, lost HP won't be restored.

    1) Only real use for it is in FC/TT without an archer to debuff. Thankfully I grabbed it out of AH for 1.1mil a few months ago.
    2) Sometimes I ribstrike charmed bm/barbs in pvp before switching to claws to dd.
    3) Also, the hp is debuffed then the damage hits.
