I know this is a lot to ask for for some people, but no flaming allowed. Let's have a normal, civilized conversation.

Wondering what that is? Read the latest news.

My thoughts: This would be a good idea IF

1) There were more (better) options; right now I'm not enticed on charging gold for scrolls and them exp thingamajigs that, if my math is right (it usually isn't) only give 20k exp in all (and has a level 85 requirement, that's not even .1% I don't think for most)

2) If they were properly priced. What I mean by that is those two...items I speak of above shouldn't be 1,000 and 2,000 points. And them mounts are not even worth 150 bucks.

Edit: Okay, so my math *was* off. It's 200k exp. You can do a WQ or BH for free.

    Don't really care. The rewards are nothing big. More incentive for people to charge zen means more and cheaper gold for me. b:cute

    Good old PWI Devaluing the celestial tiger event mounts, just like every elite/limited edition mount give it a month or two and it shows up in the cash shop the greed is endless.

    On another note, once again you can buy EXP/Spirit through the cash shop as if hypers and oracles werent bad enough, you just gotta sit there clicking to get 4k exp/1k spirit a pop, 50 of them for 2k zen aka $20 ontop of all the stuff you already bought with that $20.

    Go go greedy PWI paying for power with R9 wasnt enough, you just pay for power and levels all in one

    There are plenty ppl who charge or were going to. This just gives more incentive to do it. It's not like for 150G they will get that fail mount; they just charge the 150G & get extra **** for free & I got ninja'ed by Gwen

    I think this is something nice that they have already made whit some of their games before so was lind of expecting it one day i just whish the rewards were a bit better or different stuff.

    Hmm.... LOTS of cash things have "incentives" or "bonuses" for buying through them. Paypal has sales and bonus credits al lthe time. eBay has reward point dealies, Amazon has points for purchasing things that you can use to purchase other things ... need I go on?

    Why does someone have to complain about EVERYTHING PWI does saying its greedy? I just don't even see how this is greedy at all. They are giving us something for being loyal customers, hell, even my BANK does that.

    Gwen is right, you people attack PWI for being greedy all too easily. I would actually argue that this could be our "xmas present" seeing how you can get something for free. Not like you have to charge $150, get the mount, then you can buy money again...

    These people who are jumping on PWI's back right now are just "Game is Dead" bandwaggoners who are trying to get in on the nerdrage.

    You really so naive. It's not "xmas present", it's action to motivate people spend money now and not in new year (yes yes, financial year going over). And from this point prizes is very very greedy :) Yes, it's good promo idea, but prizes are ****, thats why i telling - it's fail. May be i'm not right.

    If anyone actually charges 150 bucks JUST to get that maount... ima die laughing. when it's FREE in the game. I havent' done that event but u always get a few insignia's u can start stockpiling to get a mount from that right?

    It's people's hard earned money; let them spend it as they see fit. "PWI is being greedy"- yeah, I kind of agree, but I, largely, don't agree. They are just another business making another buck. It's not like they are forcing you people to charge, only your need for instant gratification is. You still have the option to grind for the same things 'cash shoppers' can gain faster.

    The day PWI says you can no longer get TT/ Nirvana/ Lunar without buying it directly from the cash shop is the day they are actually being greedy.

    EDIT: As for the fashion, this might be the "neutral" celestial set I've seen on Ecatomb. The tiger event lets you gain celestial bard and gloomy noir sets, but the other was still nowhere to be found.

    epic fail...might have been a good idea with better rewards and cheaper prices maybe.........as for the mounts i died laughing if i even wanted one of those that bad i would either 1. do the event to get it free or 2. spend about maybe 30 gold to buy it rather then 150 gold...plus it seems alot of ppl are congused on the amount of zen per points per gold ...u need to buy 150 gold ppl not 15

    I'd do it if I had the money. Course there is also a ton of stuff I want in the CS So I'm gonna spend that much anyways when I have the money. Wish they would wait two months b4 doing this.

    Just hope to not see Tidal Serpent in CS at 30 bucks or so...

    I don't have one but that still being a rare mount, it would be sad to see a lot of them like happened with a lot of "rare" mounts.

    They may be another business making another buck as you put it, and no they arent completely forcing people to charge the way they are currently aiming the game is revolving around you being able to cash shop a ton. For example as a new player, ingame there is NO way you can make enough money to buy anything reasonable under current economic conditions within a realistic timelimit, atleast in the past you could farm TT gold mats/green mats for decent coin but that is currently nigh on impossible due to the messed economy, let alone trying to get a mount/flying mount with the 1mil + gold price.

    And the recent changes to TT3-1/3-2/3-3 didnt push it completely towards that right? For all the 88-90 GBA boss is 90% impossible unless you want to spend hours upon it or can get any of the high levels off their *** to do it. This game is moving more towards Pay for power and away from Pay for conveniences which it was more aimed at with the US gamers in mind.

    That is a fair point, but what irked me the most is the event mounts, one of the few things in the game you cant get through the cash shop, show up in a CS sale(which it effectively is) devaluing them, and degrading all the effort people put in to legitimately get them. And the incentive i was expecting was perhaps bonus Zhen like normal? rather than free EXP/Limited Edition mounts. Its all a marketing stratagem to draw more people into spending that little more for pixels.

    Giving power to an already effed economy? cause that makes sense right?

    PWI are in a sense almost biting the hand that feeds with the current sales, by **** over Warsoul buyers, R8 buyers, and also those factions actively participating in TW's by destroying the price of Medals of Glory. Cause **** over your loyal customers is giving them something right?

    An "xmas present" for heavy cash shoppers? those making other peoples lives hell ingame? And its not really for free, seeing you end up paying $150 just to get the mount ontop of what you were already buying, then again $150 is nothing for some people.

    The problem is by making the game so heavily cash shop dependant you have effed the economy beyond belief, if you dont cash shop/heavily merchant/grind for hours on end of DQ/Whatever you really cant get anywhere, im not saying its impossible just you really struggle to get the money to do anything at all. Im sure many have fun still doing their own thing, but the game and community has gone rapidly downhill since the introduction in annipacks, i mean hell i logged on not long ago and west arch seemed dead on Lost City one of the most heavily populated servers. Its obvious all this is taking a massive toll on the number of players and new players.

    I've been playing for over a year, and the downward trend has been obvious, people look out for themselves a hell of a lot more, and are much less likely to go on TT/Farming runs for guildmates/friends its all about hitting the endgame and getting Nirv/r8/r9 and everyones missing the fun of actually achieving things throughout the game. Its such a shame that its gone down hill because I for one loved the game, and i miss what it was. No i cant bring it back no one can but it could be a hell of a lot better than it is if PWE's profit didnt play a massive factor in how the game was run

    Apologies for the double post.

    The Tidal Serpent is a somewhat rare mount for two or so reasons

    1) It was ridiculously over priced at $50 for what it was

    2) it looks bloody ugly to be perfectly honest compared to a lot of the other $50 mounts, and it has some graphical issues that others do not. And in general it didnt sell well at all.

    I dont think they will lower the price to $30, but hey its PWI, they do a lot of weird things, need i mention the TT changes? or the TW pay system change?

    it's funny how there are always the same types of people in these threads

    1)people that think that they time is worthless (i'll just stack insignia/do the event/it's free in the game etc)

    2)people that think that charging zen for the mount will only give you the mount

    3)people that think that because a X amount of $ is large amount for them it is a large amount for anyone

    This is what they do to sucker in all those who were unsuccessful with the Tiger event. They got everyone else with normal zen promotions. Now, for the low LOW price of $150, you can get your very own tiger mount. :D
