Symbols in pet names - sometimes show up, sometimes not? T__T;

Just a quick question, and wondering if there's a fix for this somewhere;

I named my baby pet with a ★ (star) symbol, and in game it WILL show up...but only from time to time, then turns back into a square or what looks like []

Anyone know if there is a fix to this? Or are there just certain symbols that are glitchy with pet names?

And another noob question, can you name your pet more than once? Otherwise I'll just name him again without the symbol T__T;

    Just an update to this question, it's not just my pet name that comes up as [] or a little square, it's doing it on dropped gear and items too!

    So it's the star symbol that's not registering on my screen.
    Anyone else have this issue?
    It shows up fine in WC, bags, and whatnot...just not on the ground, or on my pet. It's weird!

    Have ya tried verifyin' the game?

    And yeah, ya can rename a pet as often as ya want, as long as ya got the rename...thingie...forgot the name^^

    This is somewhat beside the question and sorry for that but... How you putt that symbol in the name anyway? Tried it before typing the star or that little heartsymbol next to a petname but idk what combination you have to use to get that...b:surrender

    I think it has something to do with some language pack I guess

    Oh! It's working now, did the game verify and it must have fixed whatever was casing that error.

    @Edyn - you can find a symbol online and just copy and paste (or ctrl-c to copy symbol, ctrl-v to paste it in game)
    Or put on your NumLK, hold ALT and press a key on the numpad. When you release ALT a symbol should appear.
    ALT1 - ☺
    ALT2 - ☻
    ALT3 - ♥
    ALT4 - ♦
    ALT5 - ♣
    ALT6- ♠

    The star is a little tricky though, I ended up just copy + pasting it into game
    ALT 9733 (solid) ★
    ALT 9743 (open) ☆
    Whenever I tried the ALT code I just got ♣ ♠ xD
