I'm making my barb slowly....

Any way in the squad i was started to talk about barbs. And someone we got to this point that vit barbs are not needed any more? And most barbs go dex build, but which do go fail at it (that's probably the reason for extinct barbs). So is that true?

What build is dex build for barb?

What build is vit build for barb?

And what build would it be in mid of both of those?

As well i was thinking to make my barb to high lvl one yeah(not day) and which build would win if barb though one against another in PK or PvP?

And which one is better for PvE?

And ik this is not about build but which should i chose Demon or Sage and why?

    As well as them being covered in the stickies, prolly the reason for no replies is most your questions were asked and answered in the posts right above and right below yours. But the highlights were stated by Kyrael.


    Pure tank: 6 str 1 dex 3 vit
    Early dex: 6 str 2 dex 2 vit, cap dex at 60/80 (for minimum dex needed or extra crit)
    Offensive semi-tank: 7 str, 1 dex, 2 vit
    Highly offensive: 8 str, 1 dex, 1 vit
    And I've only seen this once, but pure damage build: 9 str 1 dex per two levels.

    The idea is maxing vit leaves you too short on dmg to hold aggro so your extra vit goes unused. This doesn't happen till later levels. Dex barbs are somewhat considered fail because they give up so much vitality and die easier. However my opinion is vit barbs are fail because I don't expect them to tank at all.

    Best PK build? Either high strength will zerking axes, or fist build imo.

    Best for pve? Umm, still in debate. High vit so you're easier to heal or high dmg so you hold aggro? Most the questions asked are very much opinion based, hence the forums.


    Sage or Demon? Demon is a lot more popular because they have better damage output and better aggro skills, as well as being more pvp viable. Sage is better at catapulling and has higher defense and hp. Check the forums, you should see one thread per page discussing this.

    yup Fist/Claw barbs with 5 aps seem to pwn everything
