cotton thread

ok so my wife is a crafter and she needs cotton thread and we cant figure out where to get some can any 1 help us find where to farm itb:victory

    Im having the same problem, i am a psychic and only able so far to be on the island of dreams and the city of raging tides. According to the database and the monsters that drop in there nothing in this area... is that true, do i have to find a way to get to the mainland?

    you'll be sent to the mainland once you hit level 20. don't despair --- getting that far doesn't take long, a few hours of gameplay if you have some experience. you'll be there before you know it.

    Good, i just wait then. I was trying to make some gear for myself .. but it can wait. Enough to discover ;-)

    actually, on rechecking the database there seem to be two mobs in the tideborn areas that drop cotton thread after all. http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/mob/25102 and http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/mob/25101 --- is the DB wrong?

    Ha i got a quest to kill these Mountain Tunneldiggers and after almost half an hour they dropped two cotton threads !!!
