It takes money to make money. We cost the most so we make the most.

I would think a 5aps BM costs the most, and also makes the most. But hey...

Venos are the best grinders because they have very low repairs and no pot/apoth costs. They can solo instances with a herc (which costs 80m+...) but that's not as profitable as it used to be. I personally don't think the difference is significant enough to make a veno for the sole purpose of making money, though. Just go with whatever is most appealing to you.

Wizards have low repairs, and don't need pots as well. Wizards will find it easier to get into RB squads and be able to 1-2 shot AoE mobs sooner or cheaper.

I have 300k and have only have been questing ( no grinding at all) . So yes we make the most money simply due to low repair bills, never need to use any mana/hp pots ever, thus we can simply vendor everything we pick up off mobs.

Maybe that's true on LC, but on HT it varies a lot. Pretty much anyone with Holy Path and the right pots can do these quests. Sins have windpush; barbs can run in tiger form; I've even seen wizzies sent who used distance shrink.

RE: money - It takes money to get money. It's possibly easiest for magic classes to get money early on if you work things out so you don't have to pot, which is possible for all mage classes if you work things out and have patience. After that, it becomes more important that you know the in game economy and more dependant on how much you put into your character.

Couple this with the fact that fail / lazy most other classes trounce fail / lazy veno. Venos can be great at RB, it's most of the people behind them that aren't. People often go w/o veno because of this.

Mag classes apparently aren't as open about their ways of making coin at higher levels, and people in general seem clueless. Today WC was hit with many: "LF Archer for BH Metal". -FOOLS! All those mobs are mag at range! They are metal; so vunerable to fire which most wiz's are strongest at! It only takes 2 toons to open Warsong (and many of us multibox). It also only takes about 20m to run it, yet they spend 20m looking for Archer! -I can't give all examples of where people are ignorant about mages. We gotta look out for our ways. =P

Focus might be on APS and Nirvana. That doesn't mean that some of us mages aren't rocking out in silence. I also see a sway or a push towards rank as a solution to deal with people making money by playing. Rank should then be killing the profits of Nirvana and the glory days of the APS'ers. Rank, and both rank 9 mats are available through DQ points. Who's better at farming DQ? ;-)

And i've seen barbarians using a bow and wearing arcane robe.
Pretty much anyone with enought dex and mag can be arcane failarcher.

Ture, but that doesn't mean that only venos are fast.

    Fail point is fail.

Yup. Been rather scatterbrained lately. My apologies.

In regards to the happy valley runs, they aren't really necessary in a rainbow squad unless someone accidentally kills the bonus bean NPC (even then depends on the squad). Getting the quests done doesn't hurt though, especially if you're doing the full thing.

Mmm... RB and Warsong - venos excell at both; both have potential to yield high returns.

    Back on track! xD
