Adjust bh100 reward for mysterious chips-poll

Heya all.

If you are 100, and you recently got 50 mysterious chips for your bh reward, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Atm they aren't worth a wooden nickel, considering what they can be obtained for via boutique. With this in mind, I think the mysterious chips reward should be tweaked to offer a still-worthwhile reward for having done a bh that may have taken 30 min to an hour.

Just to help put things into perspective, here are the possible rewards for bh100:

1) 2 ecstasy cards = 2mil coins (rarest)
2) 50 mirages = ~ 650-900k coins depending on current market
3) 8 US = ~ 300k coins, varies slightly with token price (most common)
4) 50 mysterious chips: before = ~450k if obtained by tokens; now = ~24k if gold is at 900k/each

As you can see, before, all rewards options were 'decent', as they should be for 30 min to 1 hour of your time. However, the 50 mysterious chip reward is no longer a good reward. How mysterious chip prices will be affected after sale (I predict sale comes back soon) remains to be seen; but the price of mysterious chips will forever be compromised now.

Thus:

Poll options are as follows, please vote!

1) No, 50 mysterious chips should be left as a reward option.
2) Yes, reward should be changed to 250 mysterious chips.
3) Yes, reward should be changed to 500 mysterious chips.
4) Yes, reward should be changed to 1000 mysterious chips.
5) Yes, reward should be changed to something other than mysterious chips entirely (specify in a post, please)

    I don't mind getting Mysterious Chips not during the sale, but during the sale, it's just annoying.
    Your options for more than 50 is ridiculous. 250, 500, 1000? Kay d00d, let me go harvest gold TT mats.

    Why ridiculous? Atm, mysterious chips are ALREADY very low. Ok, that confirmed, what is to stop you from obtaining any gold mats you want with chips for a lower price? Answer, nothing. And if you really think mysterious chips will ever become more valuable again, you are sorely deluded.

    I think they should be removed as a reward, period, and not replaced. Then the chances for everything else can increase.

    There's always going to be a "temporary" sale in the Boutique that devalues something you can get by questing or farming. As a game-designer, trying to compensate for that "temporary" devaluation is pointless... Not worth their time in designing a solution, coding it, and testing it, so just suck it up and adjust while the sale is on.

    I will say that maybe you'll get some official response to such a poll, since they did remove box of coins from the FCC quest reward after all, but that was a permanent situation not a "temporary" one, so don't hold your breath or get your hopes up. b:chuckle

    You do realize that all they'd have to do is change a few percentages in tasks.data to get rid of the Mysterious chip rewards...

    That takes all of what, less then a minute to do...

    You missed the awesome reward "Orb of Cultivation" that gives you like 0.00000001% or something unnoticeable low. It kinda sucks even more than chips unless you have a 70+ alt char on same account that needs to level.

    Sack of **** is actually on of the better rewards you can get these days b:cry I Agree tho they should totally remove the chips because im pretty sure they will be in cash shop at a ridiculously low price for ever. Why the hell would you spend 1 hour doing BH for something worth 20k. I can go kill 2 mobs and get more coins.

    Have to admit, doing an entire BH for a chance of pretty much no reward is pushing it a little. Especially since it's a direct result of their cash shop sales.

    But BH100 also acts as an incentive to level. Quite a few people I know want to reach lv100 because it's a "great way to earn decent money". And it acts as an incentive to keep logging in once you reach level 100. Making life a little crappier for endgame players really doesn't seem a good business plan. Sack O' **** was insult enough already.

    I'd like to see the mysterious reward just taken out all together to increase the chances of estacy cards, subs, and orbs ^_^

    I never said they were valuable. To most, they were pointless before the sale. Of course seeing as the sale is going on, you'll think they're pointless, but what about after the sale? Getting 250, 500, or 1,000 after the sale would be ridiculous, and it'd be much easier to get the gold mats.
    Now, if they put Chip boxes in the boutique forever at a low price, then yes, I'd agree that we should get more, or remove them all together, but for now, it's fine as is.

    They wont exist in boutique in 2 weeks. It will take some time to get rid of some from circulation, but you wont be able to get them anymore for that kind of price so it should be a pretty fast recovery (not to mention most being bought now will be used right away).

    That being said it's perfectly fine as a reward.

    the main cost of gold mats is the fee, the chip cost (even with old prices) is almost neglitible

    No 10,000 chips option? DAMN. Clearly everyone just wants the most chips they can get for BH, which is why PWE for the most part doesn't listen to polls when it comes to what to sell.

    I voted keep 50 or eliminate them to give better chances for other rewards.

    i voted 1k. why? cause 1k chips now = ~500k = ~50 chips before.
    i dont have a problem with eliminating them though

    Name one single frequently used boutique item that has gone on sale, and has never been put on sale again since. I think someone mentioned 8 star dragon orb as being the only one. Chips will be back after the sale within a few weeks tops, I can pretty much guarantee the market price wont even get a chance to so much as even double ever again.

    Gold mats have a set lowest-price cap. Chipping an illusion stone still costs a whopping 18 million coin thanks to the fee. If chips become easy to obtain (like a 1000 chip reward), all it does is cut the value of chips a lot and set a low market price on gold mats so you can't really profit from them anyway.

    Personally either removing them or changing them to a non-boutique item that wont be affected by sales is the fairest answer.
