Need help for character choosing!

Ok so I'm not sure on what kind of character to pick.
Since I really like to be able to take a hit, do lots of damage, take on a mob, use AoE, range, and close combat.
So not really sure on what is best character.
Right now I want a character to make good money by killing monsters really quick, what should I make?

    Or, because he may be new to the game and did not fully understand where it would be best to put this thread....no sweat, that is why there are forum mods to move stuff.


    @OP: You sound like you want a character that has it all. I think you are going to have to be a little more discriminating with your criteria. If there was one character that could do it all, then everyone would be playing that character and no other. Having said that, if you are looking to make money, the venomancer is perhaps one of the best money makers in the game. With regards to the rest of your criteria, you might enjoy playing a Blade Master, though it will not have much to offer for ranged attacks -.-

    Well... The class that can meet a little of your criteria would be an Assassin.
    Pretty powerful in close, and because of it needing Dexterity to function, can also use bows. (range)
    As for AoE, I'm not sure if a Sin has that, but close to your ideal.
    As for mobs...
    Well, depends on the mobs.

    Id recommend a sin. good damage with melee and range and also you can go invisible with them. And then there are the movement skills which can almost double you r speed for a short amount of time.

    Yep we do have AoE's and we are very strong with mobs but we rly cant take a hit. I mean we can sort of but not as much as barbs if you want take a hit and be strong and money maker i think Veno's the way to go they can solo almost anything and on my veno i solod my fb19 but the thing is there Female strict characters, so ye but they make crzy money and they are crzzy solo'ists idk about pvp but ye. b:victory

    Would say a venomancer to start with, can kill kinda fast and you're able to do alot by yourself cause you have a pet tanking b:cute

    Venomancer and supposedly a cleric grind money very well. Myself having a lvl 66 Venomancer. Good but make sure to level your tank pet. I regret not doing so as I mostly DD with Kowlin.
