Clarification

Ok, So i just got My BM to lvl 31, and i thought id check with you guys before i went much further.

With my BM i originally decided to go Pure sword, But now im Thinking that Pure sword might not be the best, So im starting to stat towards Sword and Axes, Dex recs for swords and str recs for axes, rest into vit or 6str 3dex 1 vit if you want to think of it that way, but im not there yet, my question is, is this the right thing to do? I know i wont have enough Spirit to specialize in both trees so which tree should i specialize in and which one should be the secondary tree, or should i just go pure Axe build?, i just bought mage bane and Sword mastery so Im thinking maybe have sword as my main tree and Axes as my Secondary tree, But i love to AoE, and axes is the tree to go for AoE or so im told.

    Use axe/fist until 90. Sword really sucks butt until 90. Even at 90 it would still be un powered. Poles turn from **** into arcane destroyer at 95.

    Definitley go axe/fist right now.
    AP classes are a real butt pounding...

    Fair enough then, ill tipe the Vit next time i buy gold, and start pumping in 3str 2 dex, which will let me use swords any way, just cut down my survivability, But, eh im not playing my BM to tank, just for a bit of fun,

    You will certainly have enough spirit for 2 paths, hell you will have enough spirit for 4 paths. If you only choose 2 paths, then when you start doing BH's and FCC runs, you wont even know what to do with the mounds of spirit you have built.

    When I started out I wanted to be pure sword as well and I too decided that it probably isnt the best route. It is widely regarded that swords are the least effective weapon in most situations. That's not to say that there arent people who have made swords work for them, because there certainly are. With that said, my advice would be to switch to axes as your main until you reach 85 or higher when you can get gorenox vanity fists. Then restat for fist/axe, which effectively gives you access to all 4 paths, should you so choose to use them all

    I very well may have enough spirt at lvl 8x when i Start Fccing on my BM, but up untill then, i wont, Im in no way shape or form a cashshopper, And im not a fast leveler, But ill take you advise and just go pure axe from now on, The reason i went sword in the first place was because i wanted something different to what i was using on my barb, But, as you said, I guess the AoE's do come in handy for fast BH's and FCC's.

    3 str 2 dex BM is a better tank than vit build bm. Yah sounds crazy but think about it lol.
