So this skill is worthless? I read in guide that due to casting time its not really worth using, however wouldn't -channeling gear make this more viable?

It doesn't exactly heal back much either and it's channel time doesn't make it worth it either. Not to mention by the time you have reached the higher levels the other heal skills you have are better overall. Wellspring, in my opinion, effectively replaces Blessing because it has less channel time and it heals back a large chunck of HP. Then you have IH, the typical do-all heal, and Stream, which too slow in my opinion, but it heals back a lot of HP + heals over time. So when you compare it to those three "main" heal skills, yeah, it's worthless.

It is not useless but IH being an overpowered healing skill makes it not-so-useful.

Some people keep it at level 1 so that they can recharge their chi with it.

lol....what about the MP regain from demon skill? Does that not account for anything?

    ○Blessing of the Purehearted

    Mana 535

Demon version has a 25% chance to recover 5% of maximum MP.

Assuming you have 10k MP, it still only recovers 500 and with a 25% chance... so no.

Demon IH does that equally well and it stacks. It should at least help keep the charm from ticking if you're chi-ing up.

:) see that is why I ask you guys......I should have been able to do the math but I just saw 25% chance and was like cool....didn't think about 5% not being very much..its basically 25% chance of a free cast on a skill I never use:)

Same for me, I never use that skill, nor even lvl it up. I've totally let it down. Having so little SPs, i can't waste them in this. b:bye

I use this skill for building up chi before a fight or before showtime near a boss. o.o
Level 1 Blessing of the Purehearted costs just 10 mp so it doesn't eat up my mp while I'm trying to gain a spark or two...

    I macroed it with WS.

It was BPH > WS >BPH > WS.... and I got 1.5 sparks from one iteration of that macro (if my memory serves me).
Proving that not only archers do math since 2009. b:victory

Funnily enough, I actually learnt Sage Pureheart trying to see if it does anything good.

    My conclusion:

I have about -30% channel, the channeling is 3 seconds for pureheart, so for me it'd be 2.1 seconds.
Sage Pureheart gives less mana consumption: hence it is 400 mana

Heal: i'm pure mag, so 1375 + 50% of my base mag would be around 5k HP.

so in conclusion: 2 seconds channel, 400 mana consumed and heals 5k HP.
(that's for me... lvl96 sage cleric...)

It's really not too bad... heals about same amount as stream of rej except with half the mana consumption.

down side is that it doesn't last out like Ironheart and Stream... it's more like a powerful Wellspring.

personally, i don't recommend it, keep it lvl1... -___- sage pureheart was one of my bad investments. <-ended up never using it anyway.

(it only comes in handy when someone dies, and you can use it to heal a lot of hp after revive, lol)

I really don't see a point in bothering with this skill anymore. Yeah I used it occasionally in the lower lvls, but only until I learned IH honestly. It takes too long to cast for the runs I go on now and with how reckless some of those I run with can be IH and wellspring are my main choices for healing. I lvld it a bit but I kinda just let it sit now, dont even bother using it really. To me its a waste of spirit and coin to lvl it when its gonna cost a good amount to lvl all the rest of your skills when you get to a higher lvl. -shrugs- my opinion so meh. b:bye

level 10 Blessing of the Purehearted
    Mana: 280
    channel: 3.0
    Cast: 1.0
    Cool: 1.0
Bless the target to recover 665 HP plus 40%
    of your base magic attack.

    level 10 Stream of Rejuvination
    mana: 850
    channel: 2.5
    cast: 1.0
    cool: 1.0
Heal the target's HP, recovering 1230 plus 50%
of your base magic attack and an additional
    1230 HP over 15 seconds.

So the only advantage BPH really has would be a lower mana cost, but that's not a really big plus with today's ridiculously cheap mana potions.

I pretty much only use SoR in a tight situation where the tank's HP is dropping fast or has gotten too low, and that's not really the time to worry about saving a few MP pots.
