unable to connect to server

This is really irritating to me, im pretty new to the game and it logged me out... now I KNOW I'm not the only one experiencing this. Has some one gotten over this slump? im pretty sure i have ALL the patches so i doubt thats the problem. can any1 else help? b:angry

    EVERY SINGLE Tuesday at 11pm server time there is system maintenance. When you are in game starting 5 minutes before shut down it continuously says says in big orange/red letters system shutting down for maintenance. So yes, you cant get into the game. Yes the servers are down, yes, no one else can get on either. It lasts 2 hrs.. EVERY SINGLE TUESDAY.. just so you know.. ty.. If your server is an East Coast servers as opposed to a West coast server your times may vary. They always post a server maintenance notice in the forums with times.

    I Cannot Log In Its Says Log In Time Out 40 Seconds Then The Duration Time Is Counting Then It Says Cannot Connect To The Server!!!

    Try logging in again.. we patched. drnakalz91, type the username you signed up with. If you forgot it already then go to our account recovery page.

    i have the exact same problem as lovelymara. I don't know if they have been able to login or not, but I have not been able to log in at all. it just keeps telling me that i am unable to connect to the server after showing the log on countdown or whatever it is. =( its making me sad and would be awesome if someone could help me figure it out. =D

    also, i know my username and password. ive double checked and quadrupled check to make sure there was no caps lock or i was typing it wrong or anything. i've also checked to make sure the server was online and everything. and from what i've read, it's not a tuesday...so i don't know whats going on here. =(

    For everyone who is experiencing issues logging into our servers (which are up and running).. Please open a ticket with us here at tech support with a trace route from your computers to our servers.

    1) Click on Start > click on Run (or in the Windows Search box)> type in cmd

    2) On this screen type in (exactly as it is typed here): tracert pwieast1.perfectworld.com (You can use any of the IP addresses to our servers that are listed below. Try several.)
    Please note there is a space between "tracert" and "pwieast1.perfectworld.com"

    3) Wait for the traceroute to complete.

    4) Right Click on the window

    5) Select the "Select all" option

    6) Hit "Enter"

    7) You will now be able to paste the text into your reply.

    8) Include in the body of your e-mail what Internet Service Provider you are using and what part of the world you are trying to connect from.

    So if it says "Unable to connect to server" then that means that the server is being updated and it's not my profile being screwy or the download being screwy? Cause this is rather annoying and I can't find the answer anywhere

    The game patches once a week for a few hours in the middle of the night California time.

    Any other time, then most likely you are having a connection issue.

    Here are some things that might help you...

    Add the game folder and/or game file to the exceptions list in your firewall or antivirus software.

    Example: C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International

    You also might need to temporarily disable your antivirus, MS Security Essentials or Windows Firewall long enough to download, install, patch and login to get into the game, and then turn it back on. Sometimes disabling may not help and you will need to add an exception for the game folder.

    It might be Windows, Windows Firewall, Admin (such as running the game as Administrator), UAC, network, or antivirus settings that you will need to change so that they aren't blocking or throttling the game.

    You can also try changing your proxy settings for Internet Explorer 8, to have them turned off here: Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings > and then untick all of the proxy settings.

    If you still need additional help, please Search our Knowledge Base for the terms mentioned above. Let us know what you tried and what errors you got when you reply to us.

    I am having this same problem now...its 2.48 on wendsay morning here in the U.S....I am guessing its down for matinence because yesterday it worked perfectly...on top of that it dosent have any players listed on server population.....am I right?

    I am still having trouble logging on...and I have no idea what your telling us to do...it wont let me log in it just says that it cant log into the server...whats going on? the game worked fine last night...?

    I think you're right, they're probs doing an update. I'm in CA, it's 11:57 PM, and I can't log in :/

    It's 3:00am here in Michigan, and the servers are all doing the same thing to me. xD

    I'm hoping it's just a new update, or patch since that router instructions look way to complicated to be attempting on this computer which isn't even mine. Lol

    I encountered this same problem and submitted a ticket along with a trace route. I was finally able to patch a moment ago but still the login time out persists. I shall give it 30 more mins.

    I am having the same problem everytime i log in it say unable to connect to server.I did this at 6:48am Thursday, my Internet Service Provider is TSTT Blink broadband and I'm connecting from the caribbean.

    There is nothing abnormal about this traceroute it seems ok. There could be intermittent internet service or throttling occurring regionally between your computer and our servers. Please restart your PC and networking gear and try again later.

    Hello, same problem here.My internet service provider is RDS-RCS, i'm conecting from Romania(that is eastern Europe) I've tried everything uninstalled antivirus, turned off firewall, add firewall rule to pwi launcher, run in compatibility with sp3, run as administrator,Uac is turned off. I'm operating on windows 7 . Game is fully patched(Game version: 508,version 1.4.4, build 2305), otherwise i couldn't get through to my log-in screen right? Also today's wednesday so there's no maintainence on. Furthermore I asked a friend of mine (same network user) to try n log-in with my account information, and it works form her PC. And she didn't changed my password because i can still log-in on the website:) Help me please b:cry

    I see no GM is willing to pay attention to this rather important issue. I uninstalled the game, re-installed it, patched it up and everything with my firewall down and no antivirus . Still the same problem. Does any1 have any idea what the f*ck is going on?!


    IT'S BEEN 1 DAY since my posts.... STILL NO ANSWEAR. Do I have to be rude to get your attention? If I were it would at least be some sort of reciprocity to your IGNORANCE!.

    Yo guys, I know i'm triple posting but I believe what you doing here is lack of respect. I never asked for more than 1 SIMPLE REPLY. I believe it is not that much. You could've at least replied to my ticket. I sent you the dxdiag.txt file, but am still waiting for an answear. IT'S BEEN ALMONST 3 WEEKS SINCE I INITIALLY POSTED. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! HOW COME YOU ARE A GM IF YOU DON'T PAY TAKE INTO ACCOUNT ALL THE THREADS?!
