Solutions of In-GAme Problems

Anyone that has looked through the forums will see that there is a huge amount of threads complaining that the game is being destroyed by gold prices and that the game is getting boring. I completely agree that gold prices are extremely high, and the game is starting to slow for me. Things like this have caused me to quit the game for a few months, and when I decide to try it again, things are even worse. However there are a few things that can solve these problems but they require the help of either the developers of the game itself or a massive amount of people that play this game:
Developers:
It would be really nice for you guys to take out some of the outrageous things you have put in the cash shop or at least raise the prices for them such as rank armor and packs. If you think about it, higher cash shop prices=lower gold prices.
Also, it would really help if you guys made quests with better rewards, but I'm not talking about mob killing quests. I mean tough quests where you need to use your mind to think about them and not just the autopath feature.
On the other hand, I really like your idea of guild bases and I believe they will work out great.
Players:
There are a number of ways we can solve some of these game problems ourselves, but it will require a huge number of players and it is a bit of a longshot.
First, if no one buys things from the cash shop, then gold prices will plummet. If a large enough amount of players are patient, then they will get away with extremely cheap gold prices.
Another way is that we can just put low bids on gold. If you think about it, the people most responsible for Gold price inflations is us because WE make bids and the overall prices of Gold. If WE put low bids in, then WE will force other people to lower their selling prices of Gold.
I really hope this works for the good of PWI.

Or just get rid of them completely but, that works too.

Great idea, I was also thinking about something like this. Like a quest that makes you go into a HUGE insistence and every time you go inside it changes making it more of a challenge like the Jungle Ruins for example.

That's a problem players wouldn't want to wait for month for the prices to go down and there will still be cashshopers making the gold go up. Also players would just suggest for everyone to quit and say "THE GAME IS DEAD" while nothing changes and people still play..
Another way is that we can just put low bids on gold. If you think about it, the people most responsible for Gold price inflations is us because WE make bids and the overall prices of Gold. If WE put low bids in, then WE will force other people to lower their selling prices of Gold.
That's only if enough people do that but mainly people care about money, so most likely they wound do anything

You have great ideas, but over the past year it seems like nothing has changed and it just gotten worse.
Hopefully by now the GM's and Dev's should and least try to think about the game and fix the multiple issues it has now...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Those are exactly the scenarios I was worrying about; however, I believe this nonsense has been going on for long enough. The time is now or never to fix these problems.0 -

If the players of PWI can work together and the GM's/Dev's take care of the bugs and issues in PWI, this would be once again a "Perfect" Free To Play (FTP) game. b:pleased
But how would you get this off the ground? Because I seen protest threads and other threads like this about fixing the game and nothing really changed but hopefully this would be the break through that the players are waiting for. b:victory[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

That's why this is a bit of a longshot because it would require either an enormous playerbase or the cooperation of the devs (nearly impossible). But if this idea catches on, it can work.0 -

Not like they care about Gold prices.First, if no one buys things from the cash shop, then gold prices will plummet. If a large enough amount of players are patient, then they will get away with extremely cheap gold prices.
Won't happen. The boutique works because there are people who want the stuff that is in there.
And gold prices won't plummet just because people stop buying. That's true as long as the actual value of gold is higher than the offers in the Auction House. After all, you can just use your gold in the Boutique instead and sell the boutique items.Another way is that we can just put low bids on gold. If you think about it, the people most responsible for Gold price inflations is us because WE make bids and the overall prices of Gold. If WE put low bids in, then WE will force other people to lower their selling prices of Gold.
The reason people make bids as crazy as 900k+ is because it's worth it. If you look at the Mysterious Chips and Wraith Officer's Badges with Tokens, you get a "base coin value" for those items. For Mysterious Chips it's 9990*0.9=8991 coins each, for Wraith Officer's Badges it's 9990*8=79,920. From here, you can solve two "maximum"s for Gold prices, which happen to be at 8,880,000 for Wraith Badges and 16,858,125 for Mysterious Chips.
Looking at it from that point of view, Gold is cheap, not expensive. However, if you're trying to get something else, such as Year of the Tiger Packs or Platinum Guardian Charms or Fashion or anything else, it's expensive. Also, if you take away the relation to Tokens, it's expensive.
And by the way, as long as it's "cheap" people will buy it. Especially since Rank 8 is really good for some classes, especially Archers and Assassins.
Also, even if you got, say, 1,000 people to boycott the gold prices, you'd still change nothing, since it's not about how many people don't buy, it's about making the people with the most coins not buy them. And those people are all merchants after profit. And they won't stop just because you try to paint a pretty picture. Of course, they are the ones who would gain the most from gold prices going down. And believe me, if the gold prices went down, you'd have an empty AH as the ridiculously rich merchants would buy it all out.I am Olba. Not Ol, not Baze nor Blaze. Remember, I am also asking about other things like quests. Also, if the devs raise cash shop prices then gold prices go down. Finally, the whole point of this article is to get the attention of the people shattering the PWI economy.0 -

And who are the ones shattering the economy again?
Hint: It's not the cash shoppers.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

It's the devs, but it has already been proved impossible to get them to change, so we might as well try to change something.0 -

Devs are not responsible for sales. GMs are.
However, neither of those are the correct answer.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

OK Mr. I know everything. Who is responsible then?0 -

If you don't like the price of gold, never, and I mean NEVER buy anything from Boutique EVER AGAIN. Problem solved, you never have to pay for outragous gold prices again.

This doesn't work for two reasons. First, I don't want to play this game and only allow the cash players to excell. Also, there are some unnecessary things in the cash shop raising the prices for needed things (cough..cough...packs cough).
BTW I have not bought any Gold in my entire PWI career.0 -
