umm weapons?

well I was thinking you know how the BM can use all the weapons in the game for the skills except for bows, xbows, and the magic stuff but the barbs can not. Well why not even it up? I mean its not really fair the BMs can use the hammer and axes and have all them other goodies when us barbs only get hammers and axes :P. Im not trying to sound like im complaining or nothing but just doesn't seem right. Honestly it would be awesome to be able to use all the barbs skills with every weapon (except bows, xbows, and the magic stuff cause like we are melee it wouldn't make sense lol) give a whole new level of customizing that char :P! Bet alot of people (me being one of them lol) would s**t there pants knowing the barbs could finally go up and punch someone like a man and do damage lol.

anyways theres another suggestion for yeah oh who knows maybe they would do it as a Christmas present that be awesome :P oh and my barb fur post one too xD. Well Xaelian out see yeah in PW (maybe) :P

Uhhh...you get that us barbs are supposed to tank right? By giving more points into dex, for example for claws, rather then str we weaken our defense. We aren't meant to do major damage, we meant to take a punch. I'd rather use the weapons that I can do the most damage with, have the best defense, and still have enough points to put into vit then carry around some flimsy little sword, plus when your in tiger form no one can see what weapon your holding under all the fluff so who cares.

I know we are supposed to be tanks and all but don't that get boring playing a meat shield :P. Like I said I made my barb a DD and I do just as fine tanking as a normal tank does (I have even stolen aggro from a barb in tiger form

) and I do a lot more damage then a tank. But I just thought it be funky to see what people come up with little more creativity then being tank all the time. Or at least let us use fists for our skills outside of tiger form

just an idea after all.

...go roll a BM already if you want to DD. A barb is meant to be a meat shield and tank. Especially in lower level PVE and high level TW.

To add though, many higher level barbs, especially in the level 90+ bracket and especially those who went demon, I was told barbs don't do as much tanking like they have in the lower level barb crowd. I had seen DPSing barbs using claws at level 90+, but it all depends how you want to build your barb, regardless being a fail or not.

You can build a barb to use DPS weapons, but a barb isn't known to DPS in the early and mid stages, thus many would filter you out in parties for instance runs because they rather use a DPS class who has the higher perks in stat distribution, like for example, a barb has more HP per vitality point stat, compared to a cleric having less. It's totally up to you.
